No idea why you would get that error unless you've modified the script somehow. Are you running an old version of PHP or something?

No, latest version of PHP. However - it seems like the security settings on the server (phpsuexec) are causing this issue. I talked to the web host and then moved this script somewhere else and that took care of the problem.
