Great guys to work with tho, but jacking campaigns is too easy on that platform. I think guys who have their email follow up path perfected would probably be more successful on ET since not a lota copycats are willing to go through the trouble to replicate that.

LOL. 100% false. They are a company based in the Czech Republic. Underground Elephant is in San Diego. Two different companies, nothing to do with each other.

Elephant-Traffic is pretty good.. yes there's gnarly competition there but just cloak your competitors and you'll be golden ;). Internet Dynamix has good offers that are performing well on there.. mostly email submits and some other path type offers.

How the hell would you cloak type-in traffic? It's not like you can check based on a referrer.

Alex Arseniy, rings a bell as one of the reps I spoke to representing Elephant Traffic during ASE. I remember laughing that you had Insurance keywords estimated at a $30 CPC in your brochure.
 
Alot of their traffic is typo-squatted domains of famous trademarks (i.e. facebok.com and twiter.com).

Yea.. direct navigation, but trademark infringing and people seem to only run shady email submits claiming to be from facebook and twitter. Real creative guys.

They will be shut down in a couple months i'm sure.
 
Kyle's a good guy. Waste of time based on spend potential for me, might be worthwhile for you though. Everyone's running the same LPs on their traffic, expect minimal margins.

I was told there was a $500 minimum to start a campaign. I nearly started a couple campaigns, sent some niches and LP URLs, but somehow communication was lost and my campaigns were never started. Trafficman (aka Kyle), let me know if you want to talk about my campaigns again.
 
I did not hear of a $500 minimum to start a campaign. I think my first two or three were around $100-$150.

Kyle is great, glad he's able to help everyone here.
 
i used them to promote web hosting, they have a lot of web hosting domain names that you could bid on. i didn't make 1 sale. i got about 300 clicks, spent about $60.

They do provide good customer service, and provided some tips and guidance. I asked them to tell me which is the best web hosting company to promote and they never told me or let me know.

I do feel there is some money to be made using direct navigation, but they didn't convert whatsoever, even though the domans I was bidding on was pretty well targeted.

I have also use'd trellian's direct navigation system and their system is terrible, and doesn't let me see which domains im bidding on, i just blindly enter keywords.
at least with elephant traffic you can see what the hell your bidding on.
 
I've personally dealt with Elephant Traffic for the last 6 months and they're definitely a stand up company. They deliver exactly what they claim and what is paid for. In terms of traffic quality, you have to understand where the traffic is coming from and properly monetize it. Just because you weren't able to convert your offer with their traffic doesn't mean the traffic sucked... just the wrong promo method or offer.

The majority of ET's traffic comes from direct navigation type-ins or typo squats of major domains. For example, user types newcarinsurance and the browser goes to newcarinsurance.com. (for illustration purposes only, ET does not have this domain). Understand what you're buying, adapt your campaign, test, optimize, then profit.
