Omit income and login count from your targetting, broaden your age group to all 30+ , bid between 0.33-0.51 cpm. yes i've had campaigns this broad profitable @ xxxx/day. less of a headache to manage as well.

the classic intensive vs extensive farmer question

would you rather have 50 campaigns making 50/day or one making 2k/day

i know which i would pick

hi..forums come join.. I'm very impressed with his technique...

banner problems

everytime i submit a banner on pof it automatically gets rejected,
reason is ad appearing to be apart of pof which is B.S. cause i have sign up in every banner,

i then have to contact support everytime to get it approved.

Same experience. I contact them via the online ticket system and then mysteriously the ad gets approved. I also notice it gets rejected within seconds so I'm assuming its some automated rejection?

Ben please help us give you money :)

Yeah it appears as though these banners are getting auto-rejected for having too much white space so fix that and it should go through to our approval team. Just make the background a little bit off white and you should be good.

You could try changing the file type. For example, if you're uploading your banners as png files, convert them to jpg first and upload the jpgs instead. That often solves the problem for me, and it's simpler than contacting POF every time to get them to solve it.

I save as jpg and still get the issue. It seems to have little to do with whitespace for me and more random. Some files have tons of white space and work fine and other with 1/2 the white space get auto declined.

This is bullshit, fix the system.

Hey Ben,

Okay, so I'm trying out POF and I'm relatively new to paid traffic though I've been SEO for a while. Just had two questions...

1. If we're doing broad targeting... .say 18-24 white female.... if I'm testing a certain creative, how many impressions do I need in your opinion to determine a significant CTR. 4000, 6000, 9000?

2. If I'm testing two groups with broad targeting(let's go w/ 18-24 white female) and then I test a demopgrahic.... say... smokers vs non smokers, let's say I have 15 per group (30 total), how many impressions would I need to run based off your tests to determine that one group is outperforming the other group?

Thanks!
