You are right it's not that pointless but 45k impressions and a decision? Come on.I wouldn't say pointless, it's meant to show people that small changes to your ads will have an effect on the performance. The guys who take this and do their own testing to find out what REALLY works, will be the ones that have gained the most from reading our post.
If you have a blog and want to run a POF case study, I have no problem driving traffic to your siteWe're all in this together so we might as well help each other out where we can.
How about fixing your broken features such as copying campaigns which does not even work I can not even find them in paused campaigns. Also I paused a campaign today and it dissapeared from the paused campaigns.
I keep on noticing these bugs
It depends. If one demo gets 50k impressions and 50 conversions, and another gets 50k impressions and 1 conversion, then yes you can draw some conclusions. If one gets 25 conversions and one gets 24, then no you can't draw any conclusions yet... you'll need a lot more impressions. There are also many other factors to consider like the payout in the offer, the number ads per campaign, etc etc.1. Is 50,000 impressions enough to draw conclusions?
Can't answer this because I don't understand how cutting out demos will raise bid prices... but what I'd start to cut out is any super low CTR ads (depending on how many ads you have and how many impressions each has received).2.Is it even worth it to cut out any demographics after this test since it raises the bid price moving forward?
Given the same ROI, I want to do whichever allows me to spend the most money, because that way I'll make the most profit. Actually, if the ROI is positive on both demos, I'd spend as much money as possible on both of them - why choose between one or the other?3. Given the same ROI for two dems would you want the dem with high CTR, low conversions, or low CTR and high conversions?
Woah, noticed (as a user) that you updated the design of the Site today. Looks great, especially compared to the old design which was, as a person who spends a lot of time on the internet, not that easy on the eyes for me =p Wonder what sort of effect this might have on ads in terms of CTR.
yo ben quick question,
I noticed you can do further targeting inside of a campaign which have higher presendence let's say in
Campaign XYZ:
Ad A
Ad B
Campaign wide demographic are
Age:18-24
Gender: female
Now, let's say I go into Ad A, and choose "red hair" for Ad A... are the demographics now:
Age: 18-24
gender: female
hair: red
OR
hair:red(only) in otherwords, do I have to respecify everything in the targeting if I use the subtargeting options in the campaign
