Want to start monetizing a couple sites. Looking for any advise. Will we be sending perspective customers to other site?

yep, that's how adsense works brosef. people pay google to put their ads on your sites. google gives you $ for a piece of you webpage.

Adsense like any ads you publish on your site will hopefully draw your visitors to other sites. That's the whole idea behind selling ad space.

If you have a good bit of useful info on your site about your niche, with some luck visitors will see your site as a go to site for information that they want.

HTH

If youre looking for customers to your site i.e buying stuff from your site then you shouldn't be using adcent unless the stuff youre selling make you less than a cent.

Shit that last part rhymes.

I wouldn't use Adsense and Amazon on the same site, if you want to sell stuff, use Amazon or Clickbank or something like that. Adsense is for sites where there is not really a product you can affiliate with.

In my humble opinion, in most cases, you're better off learning how to monetize your sites. Adsense is basically saying "I don't know how to monetize my site, so I'm sending my traffic to someone who does"

Now, I was not focus on adsense because I must wait to get paid from adsense (wait for my earning cheque) so I focus on Affiliate Marketing that pay my earning with paypal now.
