Without getting into all the personal details, I need a prayer for my friend Doug who is going through really tough times right now. We're trying to help but it's a very difficult mission, especially since I'm in school.

If you can, some encouraging words will be greatly appreciated. I'll print the thread and give it to him.

To help your friend do something intelligent and practical.
Posting to STS to ask for prayers is neither.

Here is a prayer

I'm truly sorry your friend has fallen on hard times. I know exactly how you feel. The economy has really taken its toll on everyone. Since the recession I've had to do the unthinkable and sacrifice my lifestyle, such as flying business instead of first for international flights. I truly hope your problems aren't as severe as mine, and you don't have to fraternize with the peasants in the cheap seats while drinking shitty Bordeaux.

Probably not a good idea to pray for him if you want things to get better for him

The study also found that more patients in the uninformed prayer group — 18 percent — suffered major complications, like heart attack or stroke, compared with 13 percent in the group that did not receive prayers. In their report, the researchers suggested that this finding might also be a result of chance.

A 1997 study at the University of New Mexico, involving 40 alcoholics in rehabilitation, found that the men and women who knew they were being prayed for actually fared worse.

Bobby take your pussy-ass from WF, you send the same stories on every single forum on Internet. I appreciate the fact your Xrumer works, now you can quit testing it and fuck off.
