This guy is bad ass...

Also, it happened in my town. Yea he got caught in the end, but who knows what he was able to get out of his car, He could have had guns or drugs in there that he was able to dump before finally getting arrested.

Dude is innovative as fuck, should get into fucking SEO ^.^

Badass and smart? Looks like an idiot to me. Now instead of one charge, he gets two.

He had more than car keys on him. You could argue, "know your rights, etc" but it's possible that he had a warrant out for his arrest or that the cargo wasn't his and he'd rather owe the state...

edit: potentialeight beat me to it

You gotta give him props for thinking on his toes. Dunno if I agree with his morals, but he was under duress, being he's a suspended driver.

Reminds me of this:

Dude, every single post I see you make (behinds the other 90% trolling hellblazer) are negative. Are you like the pessimist half empty type of negative guy IRL? Not bashing you, just an observation man.

I see: Man with 55lbs of pot, 30000 x pills, 5000 sheets of acid, evaids cops and dumps lot by a simple false alarm timed just right. Package delivered, small fine proudly taken and framed.

Sounds way the fuck too brave to simply avoid a lil' fine or 'forgot my license'..

I have to partially agree with subigo, that this guy is an idiot. He was stupid enough to drive without a license in the first place.

Why is it that some of you are applauding the fact that some criminal was driving without a license, made a false 911 call, and may have had drugs or weapons in his car?

It's not like this is a movie, it's real life and who knows...this guy could be selling drugs to kids, weapons to gangbangers, maybe he lost his license from driving drunk or something. People like this are trash, it's unreal how anyone could think this is cool or "winning."

We all need pre-paid, disposable phones for this reason alone. How would they track us if we did?

Problem is that usually before the cop gets out of the car to approach you, they already ran your license plates through. If you did make the call, and the cop leaves, if you flee you'll be caught within days since you're on his screen already. Considering that almost all police cars come equipped with a camera in the front, if you get out of the car with drugs and decide to dump them fast, you'll be seen doing that on camera. The only time I see this working is if you're caught awhile drunk, you make the call and get away. Once they do find you, you'll be sobered up and won't get that DUI on your record, but you'll still be charged for fleeing.

Edit: Actually if you have drugs in the car and you drive off and get rid of them. Being charged with leaving is a lot better than being charged with possession of illegal drugs. So it would work out well there.

Ahh, I see. From the Article I was assuming that the cop let him off with a warning as soon as dispatch told him to go to the new scene... I didn't know he had to wait there for the cop to come back...

Which sounds kind of bogus actually... If you get pulled over for a speeding ticket or taillight can a cop really make you wait on the side of the road for who knows how many hours while he takes care of other bizness? I doubt it.

The cop might just tell you that he got a call, say fuck the ticket, and leave. I was pulled over for an illegal U-turn once...couldn't find the registration because it wasn't my car, the cop got called away and said I might get the ticket in the mail. Never happened.

I'm pretty sure that it depends a lot for why you were stopped. If you were driving like you were under the influence and he pulled you over, he definitely wouldn't just tell you he's getting called away and expect a ticket in the mail. An illegal U-turn is just a minor offensive, shit, if I got a ticket for every time I made one, I'd have 3-4 per day.
