Classical helps me focus a lot when I'm studying and working, so I'm wondering whatyour favorite classical songs are.

This is my favorite here (Bach's Concerto in D Minor for Two Violins:

Classical guitar is pretty awesome too (Rondo Alla Turca by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart):

cziffra, could you not fit YouTube's entire library into this thread?

I'm an F.Horn player in a symphony orchestra, so I'm a fan of the big, brassy pieces.

All of New World Symphony:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yctfXIqugXc]YouTube - Dvorak - New World Symphony - 4th Movement, Dublin Philharmonic, Conductor Derek Gleeson[/ame]

Shostakovich sym 10 mvt 2 (if this doesn't get you fucking hyped up, nothing in classical will):

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ZbJOE9zNjw]YouTube - Gustavo Dudamel / SBYOV Shostakovich Symphony 10 II. Allegro[/ame]

Samuel Barber's creepiest, angriest piece, an exploration into atonal, arrhythmic music. "Medea's Dance of Vengeance", about the Greek tragedy where Medea kills her children. At 8:30 is when it goes from a meditative horror movie to the murder and psychotic sound. Not the best recording, but if anyone wants a really good one, I have it. The ending is enough to make your hair on your arms stand up.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDpW65zyh6g]YouTube - Barber Medea's Meditation and Dance of Vengeance - Mitropoulos - New York Philarmonic - Live[/ame]

And a second version of it that's even louder..

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdM2nlg4Dw0]YouTube - DCI Star of Indiana 1993 - Music of Barber and Bartok ( Medea )[/ame]

I also love Respighi's "The Pines of Rome", but there are no good versions on youtube really, except for another I like:

And being a brass player...Tchaikovsky sym. 4 mvt i. The intro and ending of this movement are just scary. Everything in between is amazing too of course, but those are easily the most memorable. The last minute and a half of the 2nd video is a big "holy shit" moment.

Then, how about a horn concerto I've performed...sadly no video, but this is the piece. It's a blast to be up in front like this. Mozart Horn Concerto in D, k412.

And here's what should be played when I walk in the room at Affiliate Summit:

I have lots more...I'll post some after this.

Oh..almost forgot, shoutout to Wando HS and their band playing the music of Rachmaninoff. Well worth the watch. Show is about the change of seasons.

Hmmm...interesting reaction.

yeah, it's one piece I can't stand. It ruins weddings for me. Should I get married, that will not be played. This will:

Fair call. I doesn't have that connotation for me; my wife and I didn't have it at any part of our wedding day.

I do like the piece that you have picked though.

Here are a few more of my favorite pieces:
