USA politicians are Destroying the country.

Interesting video, Luke.
I emailed the link to several.

Knowing that the corps actually Run everything,
THEY will never allow any such Constitutional amendment to happen.

We're Fvckd.

^I think he saw a well-educated white woman speaking and just assumed...

Was more the "a corporations job is bound to a government charter and when that job is done, the corporation shouldn't exist beyond that", just to name one thing.

I'll spare the kitchen jokes for a thread where they won't be taken seriously.

Glad you liked it. Very few around here are even willing to watch it for reasons that escape me. (But perhaps Napoleon just gave me a hint.)

Yeah, sadly I believe you're right, at least until there is a LOT of publicity and momentum. It takes a vote to make an amendment, and since the corps own the voters it's pretty obvious how the vote will turn out.

But if everyone was really pissed about this issue, to the level of and in place of how pissed they are about the economy and jobs right now for instance, they might have no choice... Politicians do like to keep their seats, and as the lady said, 85% already feel the corps have too much control.

But yeah, it'd take a real landslide campaign... Every marketer in the world working in concert to educate this stupid country...

I'll bet lukep has another video to share with you.
Jake's right, of course... I have another video (a BBC Documentary on youtube, but I've posted here on this forum at least 10 times by now) that explains exactly how we got into this shape, & it's some seriously eye-opening stuff. It's also great info for all kinds of Marketers. PM me if you are interested.

Not I nor anyone in that film feels that corporations should be disbanded when their charter is done.

I like having reliable brands that I can buy again and again... Heck, I'd fall apart without a starbuck's frappaccino every other day or so!

But the fact is that Corps now spend BILLIONS, not millions but Billions EACH on putting your congressmen and state reps and presidents too obviously into offices instead of you, to do their bidding instead of yours.

Your Vote: ~$1
Their Vote: ~$1,000,000,000

Who wins? lol @ voters. :hollering:

This has to be stopped. We are being farmed like cattle, we have no say over our own laws at all.

No need to disband corps; we just need to put firm words (with teeth) in the constitution that keeps them from having control over government.

Wow.. that video leaned so far to the left my drink fell over.

agreed.

Let's see. If corporations do not get to advertise then it will be the billionaires in the democratic party that get to monopolize the airwaves. Yeah, that makes sense.

She said getting rid of corps will give us better education. I can see how the teachers union would want you to believe this - but does anyone else?

Without the corporate voice, which by the way leans to the left by advocating additional regulations to impede the ease of entry and exit that is essential for a free market, the only groups that will have a large voice are the Unions and trade organizations. Unfortunately they do not look out for the people at all.

I read a Fireman trade mag advocating the Firefighters vote against their beliefs and vote for Jerry Brown in California. That's right. They said it in black and white. They acknowledged the members personal opinions and said they had to endorse Brown because he was more pro-union.

That video was more propaganda bullshit for the Unions to regain their power.

And yes, I do know how it all works, I formerly worked for an International Lobbyist/Law Firm. Offices from Sacramento to DC to Moscow.

lol You're shameless.

REIMktg: Jesus. I had no idea how fucked up you are until now.

For one, you're so scared of all the various unions and special interest groups that you'd vote against the constitution and your own freedom to spite them.

Then what's worse is that you openly admit you were a lobbyist. That's OUTING YOURSELF AS THE ENEMY.

I now put you in a special little group formerly occupied only by hellblazer.

Enjoy your time in there together.

Aww fuck. You're going to put that in you're sig now, aren't you?!

Better you than a couple others around here at least... Well played.

Are you seeing what they are doing in the UK?

Well i think thats what you should do in US.

Country wide fucking strike. No working, shut everything down.

But of course, half the people aint got the balls to do this..."ohh, i will lose my job...oh...someone else will take my job when i get sacked...blablablabla fuking...bla".

People deserve what they get. No one does fuk all. lol.

yes, im pretty radical.

No, you're pretty stupid. I'd fire you and any other spoiled fucks that tried that, it just shows what happens when you allow government to take over too many industries AND unionize. They begin to think the employee is the boss.

Candidates all sway to the billions of dollars offered by the corporations. There is no winning with politics as usual anymore. (Unless you are a coporation, of course.)

To answer your question, the ONLY solution that I've heard that even addresses the problem is right here:

YouTube - ‪The Story of Citizens United v. FEC (2011)‬‏

...But for some stupid-assed, ignorant, self-defeating reason I seem to be the only one on this forum that can see this fact and everyone else wants to go back to fighting between RP and other candidates.

/rant

And we have the usual left-wing anti-corporatist propaganda from the resident Useful Idiot, Lukep. But don't worry folks, "he voted Republican!"

Then again, wouldn't we all want wacko nutjob billionaires like George Soros controlling our candidates? Oh wait, when it comes to the Democrat Party... he already does. Gee, well that seems to conflict with the "EVIL CORPORATIONS RUN THE WORLD" propaganda, doesn't it?

^HB, are all of the doors & windows to your room closed?

If so, you'd better open them quick before you suffocate from the smell of all the ASSumptions you are making...

When you fear freedom because you think ppl like George Soros are sure to take it from you, then you're screwed no matter what you do.

I honestly have no idea if he or any other libs have their machines of war ready to take over. In fact I bet there is more than one type of Union out there ready to do their best to take over Washington too once the corporations have been wrestled from the reins.

But to sit back and let the corporations have such total and complete control over your everyday life just on the offchance they can keep the libs at bay is like cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Honestly, NO ONE but a fairly-elected bunch of reps in washington should be making the laws.

I think we can all agree on that... It's obviously what the forefathers wanted.

To get there you must expel the unions, you must expel the special interest groups, you must expel the powerful media moguls (on both sides) and you must, most importantly expel the corporations that absolutely don't let you write the laws you want to write.

Takeaway: Don't get complacent with what we've got just because you fear some possible other uprising in its' wake.

That makes you a coward... A coward that can't tell that a snake in the hand is worse than two in the bush.

LOL, Just vote, motherfuckers.

All of you big talking, jingoistic fucktools get involved, get out the word, and organize the vote.

Do It. Or STFU and live with the consequences.

Or Get ready For This:

My neighborhood is ready...

We should fear the unions more than the corporations.
That video should have been about the evil Unions. Here is the basic script of the video altered for Unions. Now the video makes sense.

Once they were made up of people, to help people, but now they live on forever oftentimes representing issues that are in direct opposition to their members views.

That should have been the video. At least now you know I watched it.

By the way = Wikipedia has ActBlue at $52MM But OpenSecrets has ActBlue's at over $134MM since 2004.

Through mid-2010, it has helped funnel more than $134 million -- and counting -- in contributions. Because much of that money comes in donations below the $200 threshold for itemized disclosure, the total amount given by donors via ActBlue is considerably greater than the totals listed below, which are based on FEC filings of candidates and committees that receive this money.
The numbers below for everyone else are from 1989. That would be #1 by far in 1/3 the time. ActBlue. Another Soros front group. You have all seen the proof that many of the listed contributors were non existent people right?

I mean, as I said, I worked for an international corporate lobbying firm, I may not know SEO very well, but I do know lobbying. I was just a peon, but I got a great look because at the time I was a little liberal college idiot that was watching corporate machinations - young and dumb.

A lot of unions here. Look at all the little donkeys, that shows which way they lean.

@lukeP - that video should have been about dangerous Unions.

Top 20 Contributors To Campaigns 1989-Present. ActBlue 2004 to present - actual # $134,000,000
