Drive safe bros

Sucks that it happened to you, glad it wasn't worse for anyone involved. I came across an accident today where those involved weren't nearly as fortunate; glad to hear you and your family came out of yours with just minor injuries.

Wow so you rear ended someone so bad that both cars are totaled? What the fuck were you doing? The real lesson here shouldn't be wear your seat belts. It should be don't do what ever you were doing. Probably on your cellphone.

Its cool you're ok and everyones fine (or until they wanna sue ya), But holy shit dude. you could of killed someone if the accident really was that bad.

It sounds like it was weather conditions.

Glad you and the family is okay.

Don't have someone brake check in front of me due to another accident in front of them? Quit trolling or fuck off, cell phone wasnt involved at all.

PJ glad all involved are ok.

There was a mentality years ago that you'd be 'thrown clear' if you weren't belted in. That is just not true -- actually its a fuckin joke. In a real crash your only chance of survival is to be belted in.

I participate in motorsports and I've raced my entire adult life (over 30 years), I was also a member of The International Council of Motorsports Sciences: there is no debate about seatbelt usage. Look at it this way, the best drivers in the world always wear their seatbelts.

Oh and to the poster that accused cellphone use: it can be very difficult on certain interstates and roads to read the traffic patterns, rain makes it much harder. Also some people have No ryhthm (no rhyme or reason) when they drive, it makes impossible to have any clue what they might do next.

Glad to hear you're ok. I'm happy to not ever drive in a car anymore living in the city, last time I drove was in 2006. Just have to watch out for getting hit by busses instead.

Glad you're ok... how far behind the car were you driving?
Always allow more distance in the rain or snow.

The rain/snow/ice can make driving a real bitch. The reminder in this story is to check your distances which can be tough in heavy traffic. Glad to hear everyone is safe.

Couple things to take care of. Write down your story. Write down every detail of it and have your GF do the same. When the cockroaches start crawling around refer to your notes (they will try to fuck w/ you). The adjuster from your company is not your friend (although he writes the checks so he kinda is) he wants to keep the bill in check and they usually will push to close out the Property Damage quick (and throw in the medical settlement right with it, in your case prob pretty limited). Be thorough take what ever pictures you can (vehicle, seat belt rash ect) and don't tell anyone shit (other person, their ins co, their attorney, adjuster) and its time to get prepare for the after effects

I am happy that you and your family are okay! This will serve as a lesson for all of us. We can't blame weather for this. In driving, you should be alert and active as to the response of the situation being thrown to you!

Have some rest!
