i have an Adsense campaign which was running very consistanly fro me, i.e. 250K impressions / 3K clicks a day for quite a long time. Average position 3 - 3.2. Advertising only on content network, paying 1c per click.

Position was slowly improving, and now it averages position 1.8 - 2, but despite any expectation, it's disastrous for traffic. Now i get only 60K impressions for my ads with crappiest 0,6 CTR, which gives me 7-8 times less clicks a day.

It looks like a different algo for showing the ads is in play here. Did anybody experience anything like this?

This niche is not seasonal, was consistent for a long time and traffic for it could not dive like this by itself.

The best way to tell would be to track where each click is coming from and compare the stats and see what areas have dropped off. Also, have any other big affiliates/advertisers come on the scene recently? You may have some competition

Your site might have been blacklisted on the competative ads filter. Many publishers are blacklisting low paying arbitrage ads now...

Maybe a really big premium publisher switched from adsense to ypn?

it looks like a best guess, also i'm not able to check if it's true as 95% of my traffic goes under pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/ads, so it's not possible to see what exact publishers had been sanding traffic my way.

Well, it looks like nobody else have experienced similar simptoms, so i gues we can consider it as an isolated case.
