Up To 45K To Spend On Car: What to Get?

Only other thing worth mentioning is that I was speaking with the dealership and they are willing to include an upgrade to a 3 year warranty.

This would not be for daily use....a sunday car every now and then.

Trust me you will end up regretting it unless you don't mind paying for expensive repairs. A dealership warranty is worthless unless it's a CPO (certified pre owned) even then it's still can be a pain to get things fixed.

120k miles on a fully built car? I can guarantee that car has been rode hard and hung up wet. Good luck with an aftermarket warranty company, you'll never see a dime, especially on that car since it's modified.

It is certified pre-owned.

But you are the 5th person to tell me Im being an idiot...so you win this round.

:(

DrewClement just check out some stock Corvettes if that is what you like. This is just a quick example Chevrolet : Corvette | eBay but search eBay you will find some really good deals because there were so many Corvettes sold.

Don't believe the dealership they are lying. I guarantee it's not a CPO, it's to old and it's modified.

If it doesn't have TRUCK NUTS I won't drive it

A used corvette is fine, just not THAT one. hah.

Pick up a 2005+ vette for 30k-ish, call up East Coast Supercharging in NJ and get them to hook you up with one of their blowers and a meth kit for like 6-7k. With meth and a good tune you can put down 650-700rwhp easy and still be reliable. Even if you only run low boost and go to 550 it will be fast as fuck and basically as reliable as stock.

Hi all I am new but if you can add another 80k you could get one of these:

Nothing turns heads like rolling in the b'mobile, you might look a bit of a tit though?

A NSX doesn't have some of the power of the other cars mentioned, but they are classy, handle well, and the styling is ageless I think. I'd look into one of those. A good 911 Turbo can also be awesome, and Porsche has pretty good reliability. I've had an old 930 turbo (1986) and it is not nearly as refined as the newest Porsches, but it got stares and was awesome to drive. The 993/996 Turbos are awesome.

You wont find a F355 for 45k (sadly), but you aren't far off. Expect mid 50's and up for one without a questionable history.
You could get a nice 308 and set some change aside to play with it over time... Just my 2 cents.

A 308 is no F355 but it is a good alternative and still a Ferrari if he is a hard core Tifosi. Also a good starting point as a new Ferrari owner if there is a limited budget..

:)

Nah.

The op is Not specifically looking for a Ferrari.

And come on dude -- let's be real. How many Other new/and used $45K cars will blow that into the weeds? Not to mention be far more affordable to maintain And resell.

Nice pic though.
