Looking to get a new business credit card so I can rack up airline miles or at least some reward points from the normal monthly spending I do. Figure I'm spending the money anyway, might as well get something for it.

Any suggestions for good cards that don't have a membership fee and have good reward programs?

Plum from Amex has been the the best for me. They use to offer 2% cash back. Now I think the best terms are 1.5%. The other great benefit is that you can choose to defer the entire balance interest free by only paying 10% of your balance. Great for when cash flow is tight and you need a little extra time to get paid by your network.

Doesn't sound too bad. I'll put that on the list of ones to check out.

Most guys on here are in the Amex camp.. meaning they have both a Starwoods and Plum ( and or black/platinum )

I can tell you from experience though, I have had several non Amex cards and I have had close to what Amex provides in terms of % back. The problem is most of these companies have some kind of "gotcha" as I have found out buying media buys and Facebook ads on mine.

I capped out several of my cards with over 1million points on each of them and once you hit that high of a limit, they restrict how many points you earn per $ spent. Wasn't a huge loss for me, but nothing sucks worse then spending a ton of money on a card only to be told that b/c your spending so much money, they feel like your abusing the system.

Just make sure you read the find print.

If your not able to get a Amex, look into Chase/Citibank or Bank of America though. Haters gonna hate on one of these banks, but I have capped out on all of them and have not had any issues with them ( except the limiting of rewards after getting 1mill per card. )

Any recommendations for us Canadian brahs? Plum is not available. I currently have CIBC AeroGold Visa Infinite. It gets travel points. Now I'm thinking a cash back card might be better...

Is that even US dollar? I think the only US dollar card that's left which supports points is the RBC US Dollar Gold. But there's one major drawback: their system takes 2 days to update transactions. So if you're almost capping your card and you try to pay it down, the payment won't go through for 2 days. So you basically lose traffic for 2 days unless you have a backup card.

Centurion I have a hard time justifying its worth. The only time I see it being worth it is if you fly all the time, elite status with all the airlines is nice, but the fees really don't seem like they offer that significant of a benefit over Platinum.

RBC Platinum VISA if you want it for traveling. Accumulate air miles, so free flights on Air Canada, plus free insurance on car rentals, cancellation coverage, and things like that.

Your missing the point of the Black Card, its the Black Card.... :)

I use a Skymiles card and havent paid for a plane ticket in a very long time, I basically get a plane ticket a month from my spending.

Well considering I don't ball as hard as most of you rock stars on the PPC spend, and I don't need a million dollar a month limit, I may go with a Capital One Business Rewards card. You get 2 points per dollar spent on anything, plus a 25k point bonus if you spend something like $5k in the first 3 months, and another 5k point bonus if you get employees their own cards. I'm going to take another look at the Plum too, but it's probably between those two cards for what I need.

The Amex gold business is 50k points right now for 10k in spend within 6 months right now, and no annual fee for the first year, so weigh your options.

Shit, that's pretty damn good too. Thanks.

Oh and for those of you who want to compare these cards..go to http://www.bankrate.com. It breaks them all down pretty well.
