[PPC] Need A Few Things Cleared Up Before I Start

Have a few questions which I'd like to get sorted out before I start my first campaign.

1) When beginner guides/people refer to 'make a domain and a landing page', what EXACTLY do they mean? Can you create any domain or does it still have to be targeting keywords? Where are a few examples of good landing pages?

2) Should I buy a domain and hosting for Prosper 202 straight away and start tracking immediately?

3) Do people create new domains and landing pages for every campaign they do? If not, how does it work?

4) How important is SEO in PPC campaigns? I've been reading a few of the stickied threads and one strongly emphasised making a few posts and adding a newsletter opt-in to higher the page quality.

Cheers!

I am drunk and feeling nice.

1) It should be sort of related as to add the "trust" factor to people sent to the page, so if its on debt, make it some how debt related.

2) Yes, always track.

3) Most people I know do that, or have sub domains. Myself, I do a mixture.

4) Depends on the campiagn and what you want out of the offer, personal if its an offer that I just want to drive leads too - I do just that, adding content is a great way to add "trust" and get people to preform what you want them to do, as well as a news letter to upsell them later, or convert the leads that never converted the first time.

Best advice I can give, is find an offer YOU personally would be interested in - design, and create a page that you yourself would buy something from...chances are..having a bullshit page, or a shitty sales copy would make you not want it, so put some time and effort into the quality and sell yourself and always split test.

If that made sense cool - if not, just know I am hammered and tired.

Really appreciate your feedback, I feel like I understand the process a lot more now. The only thing I didn't understand was your mention of driving leads - what does that mean?

Also, can you give me an example of a solid landing page with a newsletter opt-in and content?
