Beware of Prizegrand.com and Pointleads.com - GPTBoycott Discussion Forum

Beware of Prizegrand.com and Pointleads.com

Today there was a huge falling out. My ex-partner((Anthony) owner of Pointleads.com) and his "partner"(Amir) decided they were going to extort me. This all started because the new partner((Amir)owner of prizegrand.com) doesn't want the USA government to know about him, as I told him he needed to fill out some papers to make the ownership legitimate which included a W-9 Tax form, The new partner(amir) decided that i should lie on my tax returns, This is something I am not willing to do. Weeks pass with no sales and I get a message from Amir that I should pay him $120.00 for his 50%(50% of profits he bought from Anthony for $70). I messaged him directly asking why I should pay him thus when he has yet to lift a finger to help the site. I do all the work, I coded the script, I own The copyrights to the script. I bought all the advertising....

Sorry to hear about that, but thanks for the heads up. Unfortunatly there is so much fraud on the Internet today and not much regulation.

I don't feel bad for the OP one bit. You clearly have no clue how Internet marketing works.

Case and point, I go to your site and I click offers and I see your incentivizing a ton of address submit offers. I'm sure the advertiser is going to be thrilled that your paying people to fill out these offers. /end sarcasm

You state, specifically on the TexasHoldem offer
"Submit your info. 2nd Page - Submit your details. Complete as many offers as you can (The more you complete the more you get for your offer up to $2.00). "

Hey, complete as many as you can, I get paid and you'll get paid, thats all that matters! You coach the user and telling them exactly what they need to do so they can get paid and you can get paid.

Anyone who has a fucking clue how online marketing works knows you're delivering shitty leads to the advertiser. So when an affiliate network like PointLeads.com doesn't pay you, you cry foul. You're site is just a way for you to make money while fucking over advertisers.

That's what happens when anyone can start their own affiliate network and doesn't have a fucking clue how this shit works.

NOTE: Why don't you make a site that actually provides value instead of trying to take the easy way out and encouraging fraud?

I had basically the exact same situation. The only thing that guarantees you'll get paid is if you open a dispute with his merchant services provider, he has 48 hours to resolve the ticket (that is prove he paid according to his terms) or his upstream, merchant services and network will get shut off. Believe me it gets his attention, I had my payment issue resolved so fast it would make your head spin. Just go here Affiliate Network Payment Dispute - Open Ticket and be ready to supply all the screenshots, chatlogs and emails that support you.

Anthony has been trying to sign up on our network for a while, so far he's been denied all 3 times he's signed up. He contacts me on AIM once a week I would say, so I am fairly confident he is around. I suggest you work networks who are more well known to avoid such a hassle, especially if your traffic is purely incent.

There are always new shiftcode/hasoffers incentive networks popping up, do more research before you send traffic to them.

You are looking at the CoReg wall offers which are incentivized, and the goal in incent coreg is to tick as many boxes and complete as many offers as you can, and it's UP TO $2.00, so where is the problem? That's exactly the instructions we worked out together with the advertiser, this is exactly the text they wanted us to use and it works great so far, so where is the problem? Do you want me to show you the email where we agreed with the advertiser on this?

If you have a problem then be my guest, I am not expecting everyone to  our site. Anyway this also has absolutely no relevance to the issue we had with PointLeads which is purely non-payment.

Lawyer up and get ready to spend all of that 5k to prove a point......If pointsleads is having money is issues i wouldn't think that getting your money back is a achievable feat.

GL, by the way this is part of doing business your going to get burned if you do enough business. Its part of business, keep a lawyer on the payroll and be prepared next time this happens.

Okay, can you help me find a lawyer please?
I'm in the UK, Google brings me irrelevant results, all UKish ones.
I tried using proxy but it's so hard to search for a lawyer who knows what affiliate marketing is.

Any help please?

Email me, shaz@bluetrackmedia.com, I might know a lawyer you could get in touch with.

I believe you are running some of our campaigns through one network or another anyway.

Why is everyone talking about the quality of the leads he sent? Anthony clearly didn't state that the reason he isn't paying is because he didn't get paid by the advertiser. He's just making a bunch of random excuses.
