PointLeads.com Scam [Stole over $5,000 from us]

What's wrong about the time stamps?

I'll preface this by saying that this guy should pay you no matter what.

You contacted him an incredible number of times in a short timespan. From the timestamps, I can tell that you were way too fired up and that you needed to calm down. It's tough to get someone to do something for you when you're acting less than cordial and professional, even if you are owed the world. The way you conducted yourself towards the end was completely counterproductive and any positive result would have been in spite of (and not because of) your actions.

Well, I tell you my take on this.
We had networks paying us 3-4 months after due time, we've never rushed them and never had to chase them like this. We understood they need to take their time but they were always kind enough to let us know where things stand, always.

But with this guy the entrie difference is that he simply lies about everything and not answering you. We had numerous emails being ignored, I was trying to get into the bottom of things and he simply doesn't provide you with information.
I'm sorry but I've realized I'm dealing with a crook here, this is why I didn't want to play nicely with him, but guess what, playing though with this guy doesn't help neither, he simply does pick&choose when it comes to payments. (PONZY SCHEME)

In any other normal case, and just like someone mentioned, if he would tell us he hasn't been paid from the advertisers or if there were some issues here or there we would never bother to make all the fuss about it, but excuse me, how many lies do we need to go through with this guy? The last thing is he said he paid "a few hours ago" refusing to provide transaction ID, just mentioning he needs to check with PayPal why we haven't received a payment - now which normal person does those things?

So I say no, not in this case. In any other case I would agree with you without a single doubt, but not in this case. Not when it comes to crooks like this.

Good luck let me know if I can help with anything. I know he contacted me to try to get me to run from him which I did not. It sucks trying to collect and have people not pay you. I know from first hand experience.

But hope you get it in the end!

Should run from us.

I would also like to add on top of what I said above (post #44) that I first before even posting, I first warned Anthony that we would go to forums and share what he did to us with other publishers if he is not going to play fair and stop playing games - he told us "do so if you wish". Quite frustrating.

Another thing, I did send him a link to this post after I've posted it, so it's not like he is not aware of this thread/topic, he is more than welcome to join the topic and explain his own "position" if he really has any. If I were him I would just say sorry for playing all these idiotic games and rectify what happened, that's the best he can do and that's what we expect him to do.

However, I wonder if he has any intentions of playing fair with people. I also had a chat with his ex-business partner on AIM, I got his details from the topic on GPTBoycot Forum, and his ex-business partner told me lots of bad things about Anthony. So really, in another words, we might have not done a proper due diligence before joining this network but we have done the best due diligence we could before posting what we have posted in this topic. We would not call a network scam just like this, but in this specific case, unfortunately there is no other way to define what this network does, other than a big scam.

1. Dude isn't going to pay you as if doesn't have the money. It's clear from the litany of excuses...

2. Have you even looked at his website? Why the hell would you trust it? The about us reads stupidly at best.

BTW, if someone's paid for leads and they weren't delivered or vice verse isn't that criminal (as in police can be involved)?

I'll be honest when I first read the thread, I thought "christ, another douchebag scam marketer whining about losing their comissions"...

But then the subsequent replies made me realise that for once the affiliate is not to be blamed here, and is legitimately being screwed.

I think we should do a 4can/Anonymous style attack or just pester this douche into paying up.

Thanks for your reminder. I won't do businees with this network. BTW,hope you can get your payments

Not to ride a dead horse but this is why i choose to work with affiliate networks that have been around a bit (not that vasquez opened up shop last week) and have a good rep paying there affiliates. Seems to be alot of networks in the last couple of years popping up saying they can get you the highest payments (This is almost impossible). LOL how could you if you are a new network. Every now and then a real top flight AM will start something on his own. But this is far and few between. Focus on dealing with people that you know will pay you (even if you loose a nickel per conversion). Personally i have never not payed a affiliate unless it was fraud (even if the advertiser didn't pay me). That would be scummy business tactics.

My last 2 cents is stick with networks you know will pay you, have a lawyer on the payroll and never get a network that you are new to working with more than 2k credit in a month. Most successful affiliates will only run up to 25k-30k per network...even if that network has the best payout. After you reach that 25k-30k mark you can still run the same offer brokered through another network because at least you dont have all your eggs in that one networks basket of getting paid.

GL and if you need help getting paid feel free to PM me and ill point you in the direction of some of my legal sources.

In general I do like to thank you for your tips, this is more or less what we were doing, we just never expected to deal with a liar, who is actually lying about everything from scratch, about having Net5, Net15 and such which serve as illusion only and likewise emails from Vasquez claiming payments will be made, and on the other hand a good part of weekly payments that were made properly on time, which made you feel like the system is genuine etc. You should also note he started in 2010 and not in 2011 (we're almost heading towards 2012 now)

As I mentioned we did appreciate those weekly payments and good communication as means to understand the network is trustworthy, but when we found out the real deal behind it this is why I started the topic yelling and screaming out loud that website is a scam, I still hold every reason to do this unless if Mr. Vasquez will do the right thing, say he is sorry, and pay all of his affiliates (we're not alone) and from there decide if he is able to run a business with ethical values or not - but my assumption is that Mr. Vasquez is not going to do that.

Regarding your last part (which I'm quoting) I'd be more than happy to use your sources, many thanks for that, but can I ask is it really worth it? We're starting to lose hope here and just give it up to be honest.

Hey before i say anything i will like to say Anthony isn't a bad guy. He has trouble sending payments but i haven't seen him scam anyone. I used to work with them awhile back then left but yeah he really did move thou so that address you wont get in contact with him. So i say keep emailing him he will come around to send it.
