I'm looking for a VPS to sign up to, someone recommended thrustvps so i thoughts hmms better check out reviews, reviews were mixed but i flirted with them anyway.

I send them a general question about ideal hosting plans and how much they charge for IPs and cpanel license.

Hi I'm in need of a US based host for my websites

I will need a linux host with cpanel and maybe 3-4 different IPS

I['d like to know if you charge for cpanel, |I know that a few VPS providers ask for cpanel license fees.

Cheers

I just need additional IPs because I have multiple websites targeting the same search term in google, and I would like both sites to rank. Google doesn't tend to rank both sites up together if they are from the same IP which looks like it's coming from the same owner.

Sometimes I would also like to link one site with the other so I would like additional IPs to do so.

I will probably only need 2 or 3 IPs. However I have noticed that you charge $1 per ip address for one or two addtional IPs and then you charge $9 for 3 IPs.

Why does the price go up so steep after 3 total IPs?
Also why is it such a big issue to get more IPs, I understand other VPS providers will supply you with an IP no quibbles/

Hello, SEO is not a valid justification for IPs. Regards, Gareth Akehurst, Senior Client Support Advisor,

Bahahahahahahaa SEO IS NOT A VALID FUCKING REASON FOR IPS

At first I tougt Id play with them because they might be protective over people doing fucking spammy content farms or running bots on their server, i totally unerstand that, if i was a host I wouldnt want someone doing illegal activities or doing mailshots off the server or somethin. But all I wanted is to segregate my sites so google doesnt find all my websites with the same/similar blacklink profiles hosted on the same IP and then penalising them en masse.

I have couple of websites in #1 positions and I'm slowly working on plan b sites to get them anking high as well. I don't want google to see plan a site and plan b site on the same IP.

Also i dont want other seos doing a reverse IP lookup and finding all my websites and taking my ideas.

That's all I wanted Ips for. Was that too much to ask?

That's too bad, $1 for an IP... Isn't that really good? Haven't gone there yet, but it sounds good. I wonder what justification does pass their B.S. test?

lol, bro get a VPS with knownhost or liquidweb. Either will treat you well.

Bahahahahahahaa SEO IS NOT A VALID FUCKING REASON FOR IPS

It's not, every RIR has their own rules for IP justification, SEO is not one of them. Assignees risk losing allocations if their clients violate allocation rules, so laugh at yourself for shooting yourself in the foot by giving them a retarded reason instead of a valid justification for IPs.

I think most providers will say no to "SEO" as a justification for multiple IPs. Just tell them you need multiple IP's because you will be running SSL to collect sensitive information, and that multiple SSL CERTS don't work well on a single IP.

I don't think any of them actually follow up to see if your justification was actually real or not.
