Its so easy a Kaveman could do it..........but we all know how that story ends, the Kaveman always gets mad.......oh yeah thats right wrong Kaveman...

So instead of electing Kaveman I vote that everyone elect ME instead just because I let you win our last war doesn't mean I'll lay down so quickly on this one. (Remember THIS post if your confused.) :)

Hmm... I remember that... :D

lazyhippy rocks my socks

ya might get my vote... but how about sortin out some of this medical ganja for the WF family???!

Wickedfire needs a CEO bad and I want to let you all know how i feel

My love for wickedfire is deep. It's like one of those bad relationships were you break up here and ther from gnarly fights but you still always get a late night booty calls and in the end you cant live with uhm, but you cant live without uhm.

Although I have had some large grudges towards jon and this little message board of his but after a lot of thinking and looking within myself i have decided to forgive and see it from Jons perspective. He has a forum thats blowing up like crazy with unbelievable industry and media interests. It's gotta be stressful for the poor jew when this place has no organization and his partner is working full time, and i realize i cant expect a man under such stress to tell the truth about anything.

But I got faith in you Jon and I know one day you'll do something thats not a lie, I mean "link bait" and I know wickedfire will continue to grow and succeed even more with that. So without further adoo, with WF's approval I'll put my life and my dreams on hold to be CEO of WF.

I can get this place in tip top shape so Jon can get some sleep and stop smoking so many damn ciggs. 16 mill ha! we'll be pooping on 50 Mill offers and sendin uhm back soon if I'm appointed. Oh and one more thing, if you choose me as your WF CEO all of your wildest dream will come true. I know, tis' a noble jesture, but hey my love is deep.

Alright.. you want a shot at it?

Why don't you send me a business plan and executive summary on how you plan on building this place up, expanding it into new markets, dominating current markets, increasing revenue, increasing user/member activity, building out a work force, etc. You should also include realistic 1 yr, 3 yr and 5 yr projections of revenue and growth.

If you are serious about it, I'll seriously consider it, and maybe if it even sounds good but not great, you'll land a paid salary position within the California office after the summer.

Then again, if this is just your way of venting your frustrations and trying to just fuck around as usual, then I take my offer back.

Hell.. this offer is open to anyone who thinks they have what it takes to handle the gig. Salary is minimum $150,000/yr + benefits, bonus, and %'s.

Goodluck.

LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!

Better idea....Prove yourself by posting a bunch of boobies!

Enough said.

It has to be in California? Meaning someone that piqued your interest would have to move?

I'll sign an agreement with ya, and an NDA too if ya like.

wheres the office gunna be, most likely ill have to relocate but it would definitely be an option, just have to know where and do some sleepin on it

Most likely San Diego, although it's 100% up to Brandon. The NYC office will be in Manhattan.

I would be more than happy to give the job to someone else especially if they can prove that they can accomplish what they project. I'm giving you and anyone else a heads up now. This is not just some regular job where you come into an office, sit around, post on WF and smoke up all day long and bullshit. You would have to do a lot of work and work long hours, and the final contract must have some type of clause that states you can and will be fired if you can't meet the minimum projections after a certain amount of time.

So really think about it. I know you started this as a joke, but if you want it to really happen, you have to think and act like a businessman and not some pothead kid who just wants to rile shit up every once in a while.

Your choices are CA or NYC. You can't be a remote CEO.

Totally understandable. I wasn't all that serious anyway. Plus, California and NYC are two of the toughest places in the world to have someone take you seriously if you have a southern accent. :anon.sml:

All jokes aside, good call Jon on bringing on a new CEO. Are you still looking at your exclusive affiliate network as part of your revenue model?

That is completely seperate from WF. We're not going to make it public, going to keep it private and more of a "wholesale" type of model instead. But WickedFire comes first, so I'm not even going to take that project off the back burner until everything with WF is sorted and on a solid track again.

I realized a few months ago that I didn't want to be the CEO of the company anymore. I asked Brandon if he wanted it, and he said "no way". What it comes down to is doing a job you are good at and passionate about. If you don't like doing it, you won't be good at it. There's only so much I can do for WF, I sure as hell can't do all of it anymore. I would much rather handle the stuff I like, and get back to giving out tips and advice. I'm also a lot better at marketing/advertising and networking.

I'll admit, when WF first took off, I was basking in the spotlight of that web-celeb fame it came with, and it was fun, but it wasn't what I wanted. If I could do it all over again, I'd probably hire someone else from the beginning to be the CEO of the company, and take things one project/goal at a time instead of a billion things at once. Fame and power can get to your head and SERIOUSLY effect your judgement, many times in the wrong direction. I've learned that the hard way, and I'm sick of underperforming and not producing or dropping the ball all the time. I need help, and it would be an absolute blessing to get someone with the drive, passion and expertise to come on board and handle things. Brandon and I will still keep our positions as "managing partners" but we both know what we want to do, and what we don't want to do, and now that it's fairly public, maybe more people will see how tough running a forum of this magnitude and potential can be.

You need to be tough as nails to handle this crowd, and you can't take anything personally either. People are very vocal and upfront here, and if you fuck up, not only will they let you know, but they won't let it go until you make good tenfold. But that's also why WF rocks.

I have a whole galaxy of ideas for growth, and all of it keeps WF free for the users. The problem though is that if I take that on, then it leaves less time and focus for other, more important issues on here. So yeah, time for a change, and so far I've spoken to only 1 guy I am confident that can handle it, but he's thinking about it. So we'll see what happens.
