Hey,

I am not really a noob, i have been at affiliate marketing for a while. I have not gotten any results from any idea that i have had. I am afraid that i do not understand affiliate marketing at all. I do not want to give up cause....well...I don't like giving up.
I have a proposition for any interested successful affiliate marketer. Help me develop a strategy. Pick any product, tell me what to do (starting from very basic stuff). I will give you a 50% of whatever I make (for life) or maybe more for any one product. All you need to do is tell me what to do. I am good with adwords and have good SEO knowledge. I am mediocre with Joomla.

My only limitation is the amount of money I can spend

I'll spend hours walking you through how to be successful for the first time in your life. I'm sure it's a great deal for me.
 
A friend of mine proposed something similar to me a while back.

He said "You build the site(s) for me etc, show me what to do, and i'll give you 10% of the profits for life".

I said "How about i just build the site for myself and take 100% of the profits for life?".


That was a valuable lesson to him. If you want to be taught something, and are using up my valuable time... i expect 100% of the profits AND you can pay me for teaching you.

I know where you are coming from.

Failure is crushing but you probably have stumbled upon some valuable lessons along the way. Why not capture those lessons-learned and share some takeaways with the guys in the Newbies thread?

From one nobody to another, these guys are a fiesty bunch. WF makes you earn your keep.

Fortunately, they have some pretty awesome stickies and a willingness to toss a bone to the guys who get in the trenches.

4) Start doing your SEO Ninja stuff since you know so much

6) Profit

I have these assembled in a small factory in the Dominican Republic. I also have an ebook that outlines how to put fliers on pizza boxes and sell a shitload of these devices.

There is no such a thing as a guide to success on AM. You will learn and build your own road to success by testing tweaking and optimizing everything. My suggestions to you. Pick one traffic source (PoF, FB, Adwords, etc) and see what other people is advertising in there so you get a sense on what works on that traffic source. NEVER copy others people campaigns, this will get you nowhere..

Here is a little to do list that can give you some idea and pointers on how this works. Lets pick FB for this example.

-Create an advertiser account on FB.

-Pick a Dating Offer from a trustworthy network (my personal favorites are NeverBlue, MarketLeverage & EWA) Also heard good feedback on PeerFly, Ads4dough & Aboveall offers.

Make sure that the offer is whitelisted or allowed on facebook. Mate1, Be2, True, eHarmony, Match to name a few. These will do fine and will be approved on FB. Do not try any adult dating offers on FB or your account will be terminated.

Create at least 20-50 images. Create 20-50 ads using the 20-50 images, 1 headline/subject and 1 body text. Pause the non performing ads after 5,000 impressions. IMO a bad performing ad is anything below 0.10% CTR. After you paused the non performing ads. Create new ads using your best performer image(s) and this time change the headline/subject to different variations (at least 10) and pick the best performing ad. After that do the same but this time test different body text.

Do the same for new campaigns until you find the winner ad copy.

Its pretty much the same process with any traffic source. All you have to do is test landing pages, ads, banners, ad copy, headlines, etc...

Keep an eye on your stats and delete what doesnt work and keep what converts, basic common sense.

Once you gain some experience by doing this process with a few campaigns you will start to see what converts on dating offers for example, so you will apply what converted for you and scale into new traffic sources.

Its all about tweaking, testing and optimizing. That is the ONLY WAY to make money with AM. This is very basic, but its how pretty much works..

Whenever somebody says "I tried at affiliate marketing but fail pls help" I always want to ask how much time and money did you spend...

Answer (when I get one) is usually:
1. Under 20 hours.
2. Under $100

Not including time spent on forums and money spent on stupid ebooks.

And if you need me to spell it out for you, that's why I don't help noobs anymore. But 99.9% don't really try before they do the "wah-wah I need help, tell how you make money.

(Excluding noob technical questions that showed they actually tried to do something, and need help with a specific technical question. But funny enough I hardly ever see those type of questions anymore on this forum._
 
^ this I still have questions about shit but I don't even bother asking them because the first response/questions is . . . have you tested it? the answer is always no. So i ask myself would this work and now I just test it. I spent a few grand (yes I am a slow learner) before I hit any sort of profit but on my first profitable campaign I recovered all of my loses and earned a nice profit as well. I still haven't had another big campaign but I have one that makes enough for me to not run anymore debt to test more more more more mroe more more moar moar moarmoar until I make it a full time gig.
