Ex-con's fine - many laws are wrong, the judicial system often unfair and everyone deserves another chance or 3. (Unless their surname is Bu$h or Bliar...)

And to answer your original question... yes, you can trust ex-cons. I've got family members and friends who have done prison time. And as cliche as it sounds, they're generally good people who just got caught up in bad situations or they're victims of circumstance.
I'm sure there ARE ex-cons you can't trust, but I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt until I get to know them. You're obviously reformed, running your own show, and have a family and kids. That shows me you're trustworthy and trying to walk the good path.
Anyone giving you shit about being in prison probably doesn't know anyone who has ever done hard time, and are probably the same individuals leading "safe and sheltered" lives.
Everyone needs a second chance. You're cool with me bro.

The reason I did this is because sometimes I regret being so open about my past becaue it may affect my future and then I get mostly good feedback from people and it makes my feel good about what I do and who I'm about.
