Does selling supplements/pills/tablets online have different legalities ?

Hi, i am just wondering is there different laws to adhere to when selling the above from a website or ebay. I'm not talking about medication but instead things like diet pills/tables (the kinda available in supplement shops) and other powders?

Would it be easier to sell these on ebay (legally) or what are the main legal differences between selling products like this and non-edible products.
