Anyone use a virtual business address/mail forwarding service?

Looking to establish some additional credibility for my site. Don't want to put my home address out on the interwebs. Suggestions? Quick google search shows that there are mail handling services at 'prestigious' business addresses for $60-120/mo in my area. Does that seem reasonable? UPS has mail boxes that offer street addresses (not P.O boxes) for around $600/yr. Does a P.O. box immediately discredit your business?

I used 2 services and only one is a keeper. Make sure the company has been in business for some time and has good reputation. My current provider is good and delivers on time. However, the other provider I used was crap. They missed out on sending mails on time and often delayed mailing.

Otherwise, its a great way to get that top notch business address as your company address. Always give a solid impression
 
UPS Store does boxes for a little over $100 a year and you get a street address and instead of box number you use "Suite #". It's all good until someone does a Google street view.
 
I use virtual addresses/mail forwarding for all of mine, and I agree that PO Boxes don't help win trust. I'm in the UK, but my London address is only £120 for the year, so $120 per month seems really steep

Quintana do you mind PMing me who you use? (or post it here if allowed) , my virtual London address runs out end of October, and they have been shite at forwarding mail, and useless at responding to email queries..

I only need an address for website contact and mail forwarding once a week..

I use a virtual office and it has worked out great. Skip the PO Box it looks shady to most people. I use Meridian Business Centers in Dallas which probably won't work for you.

I used Earth Class Mail at first. Now I use intelligent office so that way I have a place to actually bring clients.

Could you share the "not crap" provider name?
 
Sorry guys. My provider is in Singapore since am based here. Won't be of help but in general always go for reputed ones especially those recommended by your friends.

Normally not, but in this case it's a very legit company that I've been working with for over 2 years now. Cheap and great customer support. My mail has always been properly forwarded properly to my home address.

As long as their front door still has the number up, and their letterbox isn't glued shut it might be ok.
