Top Affiliate Network Ripped My Mobile Campaign

Well you got fair warning. Last thing you should be worried about now is the network. Hope you didn't have any other successful campaigns.

hmm... I think it's Neverblue.... hmm....

The thing about having a domain in the UK is, you have to use your real name, and real contact info when registering a domain.... hmm.....

That's a far as I'm going to take it. I'll keep a file on hand just in case. I just wanted to confirm it is indeed Neverblue.

How big the campaign is in terms of revenue monthly?

I will not confirm where the network is based, yet anyway.

My manager told me the creatives / campaign in question would be pulled 2 hours ago and they're still live.

Network manager tells me "we will pull them as soon as they can."

It all seems a bit suspect, first they reduce my payout by 50% to try and prevent me from running, now they are reluctant to pause the campaign.

Yeah, all signs point to it being Neverblue. I read through the other forum's thread and by what the mundo rep said by them not having an internal division and not ever competing with affiliates, it almost entirely eliminates them and there's really only one other big canadian network who everyone pushes mobile to(no offense maxbounty but I don't think it's you.)

I've opened a poll thread to vote if OP should be banned

I've posted this on another popular aff marketing forums but...

I have recently discovered the affiliate network I was running a mobile offer through has ripped my creatives, lander and is running the campaign internally on all the same placements outbidding me.

I couldn't beleive it! I done some research and ran a reverse dns on the lander url and it shows 100s of offer urls from the network.

What would you do and what do you suggest i do?

Liquidate all of your campaigns, and go and work for the Red Cross. You'll be much happier there.

Cannot understand why the OP is refusing to out the network although it's getting obvious already. What they are doing is nothing but poor business method. By not outing you will not change anything. The fact alone they ripped your landers and ran your traffic sources shows how they operate - no matter a shitty excuse comes afterwards or not.

Nice relevant timing. It's all ok, they were just using OP's lander to build a case study:

i smell horseshit

Hi everyone. I'm OP's affiliate manager. This situation is being misrepresented and a lot of what has been written about is speculation.
A couple things:

-OP never submitted creatives to me.
-I did not see OP's creatives until this weekend when this whole thing blew up.
-NB's media buyers do not have access to any intelligence (referral links, etc.) on NB's affiliates.
-NB's media buyers use the standard scraping tools that all affiliates have access to, affiliate links are not tied to banners.
-The ads in question have been pulled.
-The affiliate's rate was reduced by the advertiser. For anyone who is skeptical about this, please understand that as an affiliate manager it is in my interest to protect the assets of the affiliate and do everything that I can to help him be successful with his campaigns. The rate reduction has nothing to do with squeezing him out.
-At the request of the advertiser, the offer in question was a private campaign for promotion by NB's media buyers only. I bent over backwards to get the campaign opened up for OP because I thought he would be successful with it. He started running the campaign with full knowledge that it was private, and already being run internally.

I haven't responded to this thread because we've been trying to handle this issue with the affiliate on an individual basis.

Regarding the event coming up in Toronto - I'm excited for the event! Off the back of this fiasco I might be walking into the lion's den. That's cool... Haha. Looking forward to meeting some people here, STMers especially. Feel free to come to me with any NB issues that you, your neighbor, or your neighbor's dog have.

I've worked with dozens of affiliates on this forum and hope to continue to. Up to this point I haven't gotten any negative feedback from what I've been able to provide. There are affiliates on this forum that I work with and have established solid, trusting, working relationships with. I hope those relationships won't be stressed by this mess. If anyone has any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact me @ skype: neverbluecole
