May this lead to a less complicated/ more clear algo update strategy for Google...

I believe it all starts by firing the 'wretched' ass of Matt Cutts. His vacation is long due now.

yeah, that will solve all of your problems, because once they fire Matt, they'll probably close down his entire department.

... when you knock a MFA optimized site out of the SERPs and replace it with a non-profit .ORG or something. You don't get those adsense earning back.

Do YOU realise this, right?

Yeah, because all the shitty MFA EMD's were replaced by non-profit .org's. That's exactly what happened. MFA's optimise for commercial terms, the whole basis of how Adsense ads work is that the person advertising makes money from them. People that find non-profit .orgs when they're looking to buy something, keep on looking, and will no doubt see other adsense ads, that's even if you accept that all MFA sites were replaced by non-profit .orgs (which they were not) in the first place.

If you seriously think that shitty EMD MFA sites make up the majority of Google's Adsense income, you're deluded anyway.

Google just made my year.

I ain't got no fucking problem with Matt but I believe google was doing fine with Panda, until cutts thought of taking it a step further with penguin.

Matt, through his public interaction sessions, gets webmasters to feel 'delusional and positive' at the same time, praising Google for the newest improvements that are uncovered with every friggin update, whereas, truth be told, he just wants people/IMs to 'keep guessing' as to what the recent algos are all about.

Proof-- One page MFA sites are still on the first page google for many different niches. Wasn't google talking about multi-page 'authority' sites a while back? Wasn't google slamming one-page MFA sites a few months back then? so what happened now?

.... ....

Google is going multi-direction, you like it or not, and that's the first bad omen to an impending 'downtime' for the BIG G.

Only question now remains is whether the whole advertising industry as a whole weakened this last quarter or if there was some level of allocation from search advertising to social media advertising (Facebook). It's most likely the former.

Facebook releases earnings aftermarket on October 23rd. Looking like a good short. :)

I am holding a plethora of FB puts with various exercise dates and strike prices. Don't forget there is further lock-up expiration to come 11/14/12, 12/14/12, and 5/18/13.

I can roll with your Cologne and not complain a thing. If you got a problem with mine, ignore my presence, for I don't want to change my cologne after your complain imao

yep I do, to be honest. Do I need to be writing 100% pure English every time I am responding to a post in here? I tend to use abbreviated formats, at places, where it is okay to use.

Do you have any suggestions/ advice for me?

Cologne was a metaphor for 'presence', and I deliberately used 'after your complain' wherein, we generally use 'following' your complain'. The first sentence should be like, why are you sniffing foul at my comment?, I just didn't feel like completing the sentence.

And let me correct the other sentence,

I am NOT busy busting your 'cockpit' size brain but if you get a nausea-like syndrome watching me troll, ignore me for your own fucking good health.

It's like the end of the day where I am right now and I am writing almost 7 hours straight since morning today. Don't we all get tired? But this is a fun place to be and I don't want to miss out on what's happening at 'shooting the shit'

do uoy?

I think Google is cutting their own foot off with these updates.

Think about a search. If you search for almost anything what do you get?

1st - 3 PPC ads

2nd - Maps Pack

3rd - A few results at the bottom of the page, well below the fold. And they aren't the old remaining MFA and sketchy sites like before because those have all been wiped out. They are videos, social, and other non commercialized type results.

So, they've always had those PPC ads up there at the top, that's nothing new.

But now they have the maps pack on pretty much every search imaginable. And now, you don't have to type [city] [search phrase] to get the maps, a simple [search phrase] being done will generate the map pack for whatever geo area you're searching from. A map pack usually takes up the entire above the fold space. Guess what? They make exactly nothing from map results. There are not MFA sites, lead gen sites, or other sketchy sites with large databases of info where people can throw a design up and some adsense.

Then, at the bottom of maps, where the last few remaining MFAs and weird shit sites running adsense were located, they pretty much wiped all those out the past year with all the penguin and panda updates.

So, what's left that shows ads and makes them money? The 3 PPC ads at the top, everything else has been nuked. I doubt this is a large percentage of their business, but it's gotta be a solid 5% or so. Think of how many searches now activate Maps and think of how many good and bad sites that were showing adsense have been totally nuked by the google updates. That's a lot of revenue.

There isn't a lot of room on the 1st page anymore for anything that generates Google money.

I've been focusing a lot on maps the past 3-4 months because if you wanna show up above the fold, you pretty much have to be in maps for most searches. Maps is it for me for the time being. Organic is fucking dead unless you're going after super long-tail shit that doesn't activate maps or some super national term.

For example, I have 5 real estate sites in Denver. And I have 2 listings in Maps. Just one of those Maps listings generates many times the impressions/traffic that all 5 of those organic sites combined generate. It's also a lot harder to game maps than it is organic.

This is the shit I'm talking about, and no I didn't have money on Google dick for brains I know better than to hold into an predetermined unstable event.
