back in the day (2 years ago) firefox is what i used all the time since then i changed to chrome, had to install firefox today and idk feels weird/good to be back on it . who still uses firefox

I like Chrome better but I still haven't switched over from FF. Not sure why exactly as FF is about as stable as a 2 legged table.

I don't use firefox because the addons you need for it to be decent cause massive memory leaks and it feals more sluggish than all the other browsers.

I don't use Chrome because everything you type into the URL bar does a query through Google, including domains for "phishing checks". AKA the botnet browser.

I use Opera for the low memory footprint, speed, the ability to disable HDD Caching, and all the other security customizations that it provides such as disabling favicons, referrers, disabling javascript via F12 menu, plugins only on demand and disabling plugins via F12 menu, and more.

I always keep a large amount of tabs open, 60+, never reboot my pc, and I hate to lose my session. When I used Firefox my memory usage was always over 2GB and the same with Chrome; especially if a page contained javascript it would continuously grow in memory usage.

With Opera 60+ tabs hasn't gone above 700MB ram usage even after 6 days without restarting and memory caching only.

IE isn't even relevant in this discussion.
