I don't think the SAPE network was targeted at all. Besides, there are way too many sites in the network and there is no footprint. Taking them all down, or even a majority of them would be very difficult if not impossible any time soon.

That is just some misleading SEO information.

That guy at SEOroundtable said he never used SAPE before and he refers to some forum thread which have no valid data that SAPE has been taken down by google.

- Is it worth the money? IMO, yes.

- Is it worth the risk? No risk, no gain.

- Would I use these links on my most valuable and beloved website? No

- Would I use it to earn some extra cash while it still works? Definitely yes
