Massive explosion in waco Texas



Tommy Alford, who works in a convenience store about three miles from the plant, told CNN that several volunteer firefighters were at the store when they spotted smoke. Alford said the firefighters headed toward the scene and then between five and 10 minutes later, he heard a massive explosion.

They might have put water on it. On the radio after the explosion, they were asking for HazMat to tell them how to put it out.

Every Joe Schmoe and his mother knows fertilizer can be used for bombs.

So a fire occurring at a fertilizer plant is pretty odd, yes.

Crews on the Scene of an Explosion in NE OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Firefighters and emergency personnel are investigating after an explosion in NW Oklahoma City.

The explosion occurred just before 9:30 Wednesday night at 812 N. Bryant.

Officials tell us it was a tank battery that exploded. The cause is unknown at this time. The area surrounding the tank battery is being evacuated.

Police, EMSA, and the Oklahoma City Fire Department are all on scene. There are several propane tanks in the area that are threatened by the flames.

We'll bring you more details as they come in.

this and the boston incident finally got piers morgan off his anti-gun tirade for 5 seconds... no such luck with the president.
 
LOL @ CNN, reporting live from boston 12 hours after the texas explosion which was 100 times worse, but which was NOT ON THE EAST COAST so who gives a fuck.
