No this isn't some type of eBook bullshit that I'm going to be yapping about here today its about the emails I get from the eBook fanatics like the Day Job Killer.
Wait What Your On There Subscriptions?.
haha yup and willingly too and the reason for that is to see just what little tricks they are using to intice people to buy there products, more or less I just read over the sales copy and keep an eye to see what type of so called claims of profits they are making.
From there you can sometimes pick up some ideas for your own legit sales letters, ect... anyway today I just got this email and was just checking out the website called Project Payday.
Now strangely enought the actual HTML link in the email was affiliateprojectx (dot) com/payday which then sends you to a redirected page.
Ok now onto the goods and why I am saying what this page did was a half decen't idea that could be tweaked to support some real offers instead of the lets make a million dollars a day eBooks.
The sales letter was not written with the intent to sell you anything and it actually makes no claims of you making millions, it actually makes much more realistic claims (Which is fucking surprizing for these guys).
Now they say everything is 100% free then you come to the bottom of the page where they say fill out your email address to advance to the next page, at this point I figured hey this is already a decent idea because the sole purpose of this so far has been to capture your email address then they can sell you stuff later.
On the next page (If you don't want to go that far), it actually takes the time to say ok in order to download this money making system and to get started today all you have to do is sign up for one of these free offers.
Oh wait a minute, they've got the following offers set up.
1) eAuction Tutor - I was promoting this at one time too
2) Quickbooks Business Kits - WTF I was also promoting that
3) Get A Brighter Smile
4) Work At Home Manifesto
Now if memory serves me correct the eAcution Tutor and Quickbooks are on MaxBounty with a sales payout of around $30 bucks I think but I'm not sure of the other too.
So now when you sign up for one of these things you can download your free money making system (No I didn't sign up and get the money making system).
But its a decent idea because it plays off the same old hopes that the user wants to earn money online, it avoids making huge claims of instant success, it uses numbers that some could achieve in one month (Between 500 and 2500), it captures the email address for later use, and it generates an affiliate commission all before giving away the system and most likely profiting from any links included inside of it.
What do you all think was this worth mentioning? Or do you think it was a waste of your time?
(If you think it was a waste of your time then boo hoo go cry somewhere else).
