I chose a moderately difficult kw to target. I picked up an EMD because that still has its benefits. The below stats are an analysis of the past months. The site is about 3 months old right now.

I've included posts with more related keywords and they're going quite well so far. Im just waiting to see if the rankings are improving with just the content and so far, there is improvement. Let me build you the perfect site, the only thing you need to worry about is link building. I can even manage your blogs, redesign them, give them a good structure, do some sexy keyword research and attack those low competition long tail keywords that many people wouldn't even think about. Targeting those will only bring you more traffic and hence, money!

No, not necessarily. Platform diversity is always good though, especially in a blog network. I've worked on other platforms like Blogger, Typepad, Joomla, Tumblr, Drupal and a few more. I learn quick and i can easily adapt to a new platforms. I am very flexible that way.
 
Are you thinking of creating a site on a niche thats hard to rank? Don't worry, because i have a solution for you. With a mix of TermExplorer, SEMrush, Adwords KW tool or any of your other favorite tools, collect the low competition, long tail keywords that nobody would even think of ranking (Even if the searches are damn low) and make a list of those. Say, you have a list of 100, write 100 articles on each and post them on your site. If each has a potential of even 2-5 visitors per day, then you can look at a targeted potential traffic of 200-500 visitors per day that have a high chance of converting. For sites like these, minimal SEO is only required.. Now imagine if your domain already has trust, backlinks and a good amount of traffic. You could easily multiply your sites traffic insanely!
