Do you feel like you're lacking enthusiasm and determination, or carelessly lazy, but not actually sad? If so, then I don't think it's depression dude.
Everything you described is exactly how I've been the past 4 years of my life. Until recently, I was completely happy with BS'ing through everything, making straight A's and making a point to forget everything I learned, and not giving a fuk 100% of the time. Nothing interested me. For a while I wanted to go to law school until I realized I didn't give a fuk about anything and would probably skip most of my classes like I do now.
Then I discovered entrepreneurship and now it's my life. It cured my lack of motivation and drive, and gave me a sense of direction. I was looking for a standard career to fill the void of nothing in my life, and I found that creating a brand and a business did it for me. I've never been so interested in anything than I am in marketing/business books and classes.
Building something of my own has somehow given me a drive for life and a thirst for success. There's nothing I want more now than to destroy my competition.
My advice? If you're not sad or depressed, then seek out something that makes you excited. Hopefully it won't take you 4 years and a bullshit liberal arts degree to figure it out.
Cliffs: capitalism.
