I was a little off-put when I first heard about Heath being cast as the Joker, but this just seems like a disaster in the making:

I don't know how I feel about Jeremy Irons as Alfred either.

Yup weird casting choices sometimes work out superbly. Think Hugh Laurie for House MD and Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad. Both known for comedy roles before.

I mean, gotta remember they are actors, it's their job to be able to morph in different roles. I think this can work, Jesse is a pretty good actor.

This is going to be a shitty movie. It doesn't matter who they cast, anything outside of the three recent Batman movies has been shitty for DC. They should stick to TV shows (Smallville, Arrow), and let Marvel handle the movies.
