I'd like to participate at a local SEO contest and thus would like to register all EMDs as soon as the contest keyword gets announced.

What's the best way to snag them before the other guys?

E.g. on Namecheap with the following prearrangement

  • logged in
  • funds in the account
  • navigated to "bulk options" -> "search these extensions"
  • desired extensions selected
it still needs the following steps:

  • enter domain name
  • scroll down
  • click search
  • wait for search results to appear
  • click add-to-cart button for each TLD
  • click "view cart"
  • click "confirm order"

This takes way too long, I'm sure there's a faster way or registrant?

Local seo contest? I want in.

Dude it takes like all of 30 seconds on namecheap... domains ready in a text file, c&p, click each one to add to cart (I'd assume we're talking less than 5 here), checkout.

Make sure a credit card is synced with the account to avoid payment hangups, have a default buyer profile already defined, including nameserver settings (set to default NC dns if you're going private network, so there's no whois swap right after reg).

Internet.bs is a hair quicker. Quick bash script for api buys otherwise? Me no sure

If it takes you "way too long" to register a domain in Namecheap, you are doing something very wrong.

You can pay on the fly during registration, you dont have to load funds into your account and then purchase.

Thanks guys!

The contest host decided to register most of the important EMDs to level the playing field.
