Quebec Police shooting students in the face for illegal protest

Failing to see what's fucked up about this. You think you can just run up on cops (or anyone for that matter) like that without any repercussions?

A bunch of 200 lbs trained professionals firing tear gun gas on a puny little 17 year old girl's face. Yeah man carry on... you're a hero.

Too bad for them. It went from a peaceful to violent protest right when the protesters decided to cross the cops line, and you can tell from the cops stance they had orders, and obviously weren't backing down from that line.

If you turn a peaceful protest into violent, that's fine and dandy, but don't cry when the cops use violence back to do their job and also protect themselves.

Plus the obvious... if you don't want to get shot in the face with tear gas, don't stand on the front line of a protest with a bunch of dudes in ski masks who are basically yelling out war chants.

Simple Lesson: Don't push a cop if you don't want tear gas to the face.

In before media makes the cops look bad.

Not really. Look at the dudes in ski masks. What do you think would happen if they were capable of pulling a cop into their crowd? He'd most likely be in the ICU for a while, if not the morgue. I would have taken tear gas to their face too, because I would have been scared for my life, and rightfully so.

"Quebec Police shooting students in the face for illegal protest"

i knew before i opened the thread that quote would be a hugely one-sided clickbait-style exaggeration (like those headlines always are), and lo & behold...

Just what the fuck do you think should happen when initiating physical confrontation with riot cops then?

I'm not a huge fan of the police/police-state in general, but its not automatically "oh noes, evil police brutality" every single time people band together in a mob and attack police and suffer injury as a result.

I have an idea, don't attack/punch/shoot at police officers, and a lot of this so-called "police brutality caught on tape, look at how evil they are and attacking innocent civilians" goes away, and people can focus on addressing the events that are actually non-justified police use of force instead. This isn't one of them.

It's just a bunch of kids fucking around, wanting to be someone important via violence instead of actually proving themselves.

Really, what do they expect? Politicians in Ottawa to step back and say, "uh oh, the students in Quebec yelled at some police, we better change the laws". I mean, there's better ways to go about it than what they are. Get campaigns going, donations, contact MPs and get them on your side, etc... then maybe you have a chance at changing things.

Not sure what they expect by wearing ski masks, and yelling war chants at cops.

Those 'protestors' are all fine and dandy until they hit an innocent cop in the face with a brick.

We've had these 'protestors' in Europe for decades, they are actually highly organized radical leftist street fighters, the likes of which were likely used to train rebels on Maidan and in the Arab Springs.

These people travel from country to country and occasion to occassion with the sole purpose to create trouble. There are countless of documentaries made about them, calling themselves different names, the largest which gained traction was Attak (can't remember the spelling).

These are fifth column marxists who need to be rooted out unceremoniously and viciously before they descend upon a city near you.

source?

that sounds like a bunch of idiotic garbage...

^ Do some damn research, it's incredible how people today can't do a single thing on their own.

They usually call themselves anarchists or antifa or attak or whatever name they choose at the moment. Youtube is full of images of their clashes with police, do some effort if you really want to know what's going on.

Next time a WTO, World Bank, any kind of international 'capitalist' organistaion is in town, go and watch.

Watch them set up barriers, light tires on fire, lobby bricks at police and use molotovs. They're very skilled at guerilla fighting and using generally non-lethal force, which is why the CIA took their playbook for the Arab springs and Maidan.

You need to realize that these 'anarchists' are anarcho-syndicalists, which means they believe in no private property aka they are radical marxists of the Kibbutz variant.

If cops are in riot gear...probably going to be pepper spray.

This dumb bitch on the other hand, local to where I live, sprays people for no reason:
