I don't understand how you guys get motion sickness from these types of films..
Take "The Blair Witch Project" for instance. I never had a motion sickness feeling one bit. Actually, that movie scared the living daylights outta me. Partly because the estate my family has upstate NY in the middle of nowhere (been in my family for over 70 years now). It looked VERY similar to the woods in MD, not to mention there is also some very creepy reminiscence of old foundations from cottages on the property that were swept away by a dam that broke and ended up killing everyone inside... but back in the 1800's. There is also some tombstones scattered around the woods on our land (about 120 acres), and this really old stone wall that is smack in the middle of nowhere too, that we were told to "never go near". Also, my Grandfather was killed on the property and they ruled it as a "freak accident" because they couldn't figure out how it had happened or what caused it. So yeah, getting lost in the woods, trying to find your way back, and seeing the same old rock again IS scary, and I was glued to the screen hoping they would see this hairy or Russian witch so I could get some closure to the weird shit I've heard in the woods.. but no, instead we just see them get sucker punched in the back of the head and drop down. Not to mention the whole movie IS fake.. but hey, it sure is coincidential! The shakey camera part is what I like about it.. shows realism without the usual Hollywood camera work.
Can you tell I have ADD? Hahahahahhaa!!
