Realistic Ringtone Conversions?

Been throwing a bunch of shit at the wall, hoping something will stick. I had my first real profitable day on Monday...sweet!

Anyway, I know ringtones are saturated somewhat, but I am getting some of what I think is very highly targeted traffic pretty cheap, but shit for conversions. What is a realistic conversion rate for a good ringtone offer? I've got 400+ clicks, but not one single conversion. Do ringtone offers take longer to show conversions in reports of the different networks? I've tried Flycell offers from RocketProfit and NeverBlueAds. Does anyone know of a good ringtone offer that converts well?
 


do you use a landing page or direct link to the offer?

I know flycell now prohibits the use of 'select carrier' landing pages, or any landing pages for that matter.

so its possible they may be disregarding the traffic you send them, or just not paying for those conversion since they're against their TOS

Compared to 400+? Pretty much anything. I've been experimenting with ringtones(actually, I need to fine tune that shit now that I think about it) and have Glamtones w/ rocketprofit going at like 1:23. Some days 1:10.
But that might partially be due to landing page.
 
Conversions can vary depending on a ton of factors. Talk to your affiliate manager for ideas on how to tweak your pages.

When I was doing PPC -> ringtones offers, I was seeing conversions ranging from 4% to 12%, but they usually averaged around 9%.
 
My earnings per click is anywhere from $.75-$1.00, but I'm not using any PPC so I'm not sure how relevant that is to you.

Thanks for the info guys. I was doing direct linking. I ran about half the clicks through YSM and the other half through Google. I have no idea why my conversions were shit. The keywords and ads were relevant to the offers. I paused the campaign for the time being until I can come back and look at it again. Good thing I was getting cheap clicks, so I didn't lose too much.

and im just starting and fly cell clean green converts well also

i average about 250 - 300/day off ringtones


and yea if you doin ppc .90 cents is about right
 
I might be a bit late to weigh in... but I just started ringtones this week, and have been converting around 1 in 55 at 12cents / click. But I only convert 2-5 subs / day.
