Just curious if any two (or more) WF members have ever partnered up and successfully completed a project. I know BYA and SEO Mike were partnered for a while but it didn't work out, and I know I had a partnership for about a week that ended up going nowhere.

Any success stories to share? Always seemed to me that having a partner would be good motivation.

I have thought about this a lot as we all have different skills...we should set up a forum or section for displaying skills and finding partners, i'm always up for doing a test with someone and see what builds.

I specialize in PHP and SEM, would love to partner, with an artist, copywriter or other skills that would go strong with my background.

Looking forward to see where this thread goes

Yeah I'm partnering up with a couple WF guys you might all know. Don't know how much I can say right now...

It's working out though.

I partnered with another affiliate - we met on Facebook though not on WF. It worked out great.

I think it's just all about the personalities - make sure to talk with the person for a while and they if your personalities mesh, a partnership is good.

I wouldn't partner with anyone who is too secretive or not willing to give away help.

The best partnerships for me have been with people who were open an honest before we partnered - just trust your gut I guess.

I work with a lot of partners. The key is figuring out stregnthes and things that each party brings to the table and how you compliment each other. Nothing worse then two code heads getting together and trying to make money. Or two marketers getting together to try and make money. You need a nice mix where everyone brings something to the table and is respected for what they bring.

As far as Mike and I. Yes, it did not work out, but we tried like a mofo and WE DID make money and it wasn't peanuts either. He was doing stuff on contract with me and then I flaked on him and I am sure he is pissed. Hopefully he will look past that and we are still cool. I dunno, he avoids me now.

I am still doing what he helped me get going and I am absolutely 110% KILLING it now with a forum and helping people in foreclosure and with their mortgages. Keep in mind this is 10 months of 12-16 hour days too.

I was getting shit from Lerchmo and Jon about partnerships and my business model. Yeah, the partnership didnt work out but, the business model is thriving.

Shit, I want to partner with someone with lead based PPC offers just to learn it more in-depth. I don't even want the profits from it, just the insight and education.

My only experience of a partnership fell flat on its face.

I guess people get fed up with each other as soon as the cashflow drys up.

Its hard to find a perfect partner in this business, because we all think we know best!

I have had a long-term business partnership going with another well known WF member for about a year now. It's definitely a timesaver and a great way to go, especially since we have opposing skillskets. I'm a designer/marketer and he's a programmer/marketer. Profits get evenly split 50/50. Everyone wins. :)

If you can find someone you trust and someone who is easy to work with - I say go for it.

I just got F'd big time by someone i met on a seo forum...

We did pay per install and i screwed many people by binding the spyware to my releases and banked up hundreds of dollars in affiliate... he was "hooking me up" with some bh on one of my niche sites and i found backlinks to his shit & found out and he threw a fit saying it was going to help me or something so i deleted his work.

Time to pay up and he's avoiding me - some things just don't work out, be careful who you work with.

Haha, your a dork.

For real though, Justin and I teamed up and its pretty damn awesome the things we have taught eachother
