I realise that the thread title might be spammy, but I wanted to get your attention! I will clarify now that I did not get paid all of the $8,000 in one payment - it has come over a number of months. But I did only do around 4 hours work for that $8,000 - and I still keep getting checks every month...

Before I get started, I realise that $8,000 is not a huge amount of money. I'm not starting this thread in an attempt to boast - I understand that people here make this kind of money on a daily (or hourly?) basis, but the aim of this thread is to show people what is possible with a one page website, four hours of your time and the Sunday morning newspapers...

I should also mention that I'm a shit writer - something you'll just have to live with...

NOTICE: I made this money in Adult - promoting porn - if that's not your thing, then change channels now (pussy)!

I've been into affiliate marketing for a number of years. In that time I've earned a full time income from the internet, typically from standard consumer offers (ipods/broadband/music), plus a bit of website design, but never have I made money as easily as with the process laid out below.

In Summer 2006, I discovered a Video on Demand website in the UK called StrictlyBroadband. They were quite hot at that time as they had exclusive rights to a Big Brother contestents sex tape, plus a few other UK celebrity sex tapes (Jordan/Abi Titmuss).

I added a banner for SB on one of my adult/men only themed websites then received a cheque at the end of the first month for £90.00 ($180.00) - not too bad - this outperformed the banner ad that was previously in this spot, so I let it run...

A few months later (and a few more $180-240 checks) and I get an email from the affiliate manager at SB, stating that a new celebrity sex tape is on the way - but they can't say who it is as one of the Sunday Newspapers in England will break the news first thing in the morning.

Would anyone like to guess where I was at 6.30am the following Sunday morning? That's right - outside my local newsagents waiting for the doors to open. Some of you might think this is crazy, others of you will understand the opportunity that was at hand.

So, who is the filthy celeb that's been caught on camera smoking a pole?

KEELEY HAZELL...

JACKPOT! This one's gonna fly...

So, because I'm the first guy out of bed on Sunday morning, and probably one of the first affiliate marketers in the UK to know about this, I register some shit hot domain names that should enable me to fly to the top of Googles first page for the forthcoming volcanic search terms relating to 'Keeley Hazell'.

Next step is to put a site together - and when I say site, I mean one page with a few pics of keeley with her norks out, and some flashing links to download her new sex tape!

:: Time spent so far - 1 hour 30 minutes (And that includes getting the newspapers).

Next, a bit of linkbuilding. I hit a few forums (mostly mens forums, like soccer forums and the like), and posted the link to a few bookmarking sites. Pretty much spammed anywhere I could with this link for an hour...
I probably used Eli's QUIT tool too (As I used to do for most new sites).

:: Total time now 3 hours

While I'm waiting to be indexed (which shouldn't be more than 24 hours) I setup a Google adwords campaign for broad term KEELEY HAZELL (and a few misspellings) - This picks up searchers that also just happen to be browsing for Keeley Hazell stuff, but are unaware that she's in a spanking new sex tape.

Clicks are costing me around $0.10 - $0.25 - And I'm the only advertiser! The rest of the Affiliate Marketing community still hasn't got their Sunday Sport newspaper... How can I be the only person promoting this?!?!?!?

Sure enough, the page was indexed in Google within 24 hours (Some of those 'spammy' links can be seen as coming from authority sites).

:: Total Time - 4 hours

I'm now indexed in Google and coming in the top 3 for the competitive search terms so I pull the adwords ads. Now, sit back and wait to see what happens...

At the end of the month, the stats looked slightly different:

So, around $2000.00 for the month (stats are in £GBP).

And here's the best part - the majority of this money was made within a 5/6 day period. The Keeley Hazell sex tape got pulled from StrictlyBroadband in the same week, but the cash didn't stop coming in.

A couple of things happened next:

1) StrictlyBroadband kept paying me! I wondered how, as Keeley was no longer on their site... what I didn't realise was that they paid out lifetime commissions - for as long as the user I've referred stays a customer at StrictlyBroadband, I get a cut of everything they spend - FORVER!

2) I recently switched my links from StrictlyBroadband to JuicyBucks who were now selling the Keeley Sex Tape and pay out $40.00 for a sign up...

This all happened over 12 months ago, and since then I have received a cheque EVERY SINGLE MONTH from StrictlyBroadband for at least $400.00 - sometimes up to $700.00... And I've never pushed or promoted the Keeley Hazell site since Feb 2007. I've never changed anything (apart from the link to JB), and I still get over a thousand visitors a month to the site.

Right - this is all great, but who still gives a fuck about Keeley Hazell and some crappy home made sex video?
Well, plenty of people actually:

As you can see, over 1000 people search Google daily for the 'Keeley Hazell Sex Tape' - and these stats are from May 2008... over a year after the tape was released.

So, to summarize:

:: Promote Adult - Anyone who says it's oversturated hasn't tried hard enough or found a different angle. I realise I haven't made millions from the showcase above, but I made over $8,000.00 for around 4 hours of work

:: Lifetime Commissions - Promote programs that pay out lifetime commissions - Adult/Poker etc... All the 'oversaturated' niches pay out for as long as the customer stays a customer - you only have to refer them once and you could still be receiving checks in a few years!
I still get commissions from the same customers that came through my Keeley site over 12 months ago - porn will always sell, and once a customer has found a site they like and can trust, they will keep coming back.

:: The Best Money made is the Easiest Money - I love earning money while I'm out partying/on the beach/jerking off - I might never make $100000.00 a day like some guys claim, but I don't work very hard either! I have residual income that keeps coming in month after month for 4 hours work I did over 12 months ago!

:: You've Got To Be In It To Win It
- I was just another StrictlyBroadband affiliate that got an email about a new sex tape. I was probably the ONLY affiliate that got up at 6.30 that Sunday to make sure I was the first person to get the papers and register the domains... Being the first mover gives you a huge advantage over everybody else.

I hope this post can inspire some newb's to stop reading and start doing.

You can see how easy it is to pick up on a niche, and even though this 'niche product' only lasted a few days, I'm still seeing the benfits of that early Sunday Morning in 2007.

And since then, I've found a number of other niches that enable me to setup 'set and forget' websites that I keep getting paid for every single month. If you look closely enough, the opportunites are there, regardless of how 'saturated' the market is!

So What are you waiting for? Get Cracking...

Yeah, I never did adult, but quite by accident one of my blogs happened to rank number 1 for a new unwitting porn star within 24 hours of it breaking. To this day, that site gets hundreds of searchers per month on the keywords for her name.

Probably could have made a packet at the time, but it ain't how i roll.

If you get in early on a new "big thing" there's bucks to be made.

you made 8,000.00 a day and you spend you time write a long post here filled with aff link?

Man, I knew this post would go one way or another...

If you bothered to read the full post you would realise I made the $8000 over a number of months. The whole point of the post is to put people onto adult affiliates, and show how easy it is to make money from adult.

And why shouldn't I put aff links in there? This forum is loaded with aff links, and since I spent an hour putting the post together, then why shouldn't there be aff links in there?

WickedFire is frustrating sometimes - I try and write a post with good info that can help some people out and spread some ideas, and I still get flamed.. WTF!

Perhaps, sampunk, you should read the full post before shooting me down...

@sampunk; don't be an ass dude.

That is a DAMN good post, especially for a newbie. I for one would like to say thanks to vcm for that, some damn good inspiration right there.

+rep for you sir.

The site I promoted, StrictlyBroadband, emailed me a few days before Sunday to say they had a new celebrity sex tape. They couldn't let on who was in the sex tape as a Sunday newspaper (Sunday Sport) has exclusive rights to the story.

So, to make sure I was one of the first to find out who was in the new sex tape, I was up at the crack of dawn ready to buy the Sunday sport. I had the domains registered by 7.00am on Sunday.

This gave me a first mover advantage, nothing else. There were no newspapre ads - I simply got my hands on the story before any other affiliate!

Does that sum things up?

umm..i think he was waiting for the paper, to see which star got caught suckin cock

was intent on reading in detail, but then i got sidetracked by..

keeley-hazell-1.jpg

don't now who she is but she is smokin'!

btw Keeley Hazzell is fucking slamming. I don't think there's a hotter woman out there. I'd nestle up in those titties and build a fort

Those boobs look natural too btw... If they aren't, hats off to her surgeon.

Very solid post.

Even funnier "Fail" pic post though, because that's exactly what I thought before reading it.

Take the time and read it, the guy is shot on.

Damn i loved every part of your post. Eventhough i was always one step ahead of my reading and knew what you would do next. I've done gambling for few years and i it's very similar to porn, and yes i still get paid from those 2 year old customers that keep pouring money in. Good post MANE, one of the best i've seen here in a long time. It's pretty similar to that old gaming zip submits with polls stuff(sorry no link).
