quoting for truth. if he was a real big guy like zac johnson and used your stolen LP as a template to hand out on his shit blog, that'd be reason to get somewhat upset, and then took all of your conversions and impressions by outbidding you with your own LP, too. but this is stupid
 
Same shit here,

I used to have some nice conv rate, based on tons of clicks a day. However, some how, no conversions for 4 days.

Fuck ultra green lean & the contest, I'll go for other tea...
 
I've had complete websites with custom wordpress themes stolen.. they took me weeks to design and fine tune.. I was angry for about 5 minutes then I got over it.. It's part of the businesses, nothing you can do to stop it.. it's best to not get too stressed about it
 
Alright, alright. I overreacted a bit. I had an unbelievably shitty day yesterday, and this was icing on the cake. I accept your apology, and I've taken down the blog post I made about the whole thing.

It's still a shitty thing to do though, so don't do it again (or if you do, at least change the fucking thing a bit).
 
Seriously stealing shit from other people is all part of the game, it sucks when it happens to you but it's unavoidable and nothing you can really do about it.

Normally you wouldn't know who stole your LP, how much they are making from it and all those details. I guess when you are able to actually see someone profiting from something you paid for it is a little more aggravating.

The best thing you can do is just expect your shit to get jacked. Expect that someone with more money might copy your campaign, improve it and make more than you are. Hopefully it won't happen but the reality is that it can. If you are constantly making new campaigns and testing new shit one extra competitor on one campaign won't matter as much. I'm not saying you should jump from one campaign to another but once everything is tweaked and running smooth, MOVE ON. The worst thing you can do is stop once your making money cause you never know when it could suddenly stop and then you gotta scramble to find something new. All I'm saying is you should be prepared to get your shit stolen, campaigns to suddenly fail, offers to get pulled, etc...
 
Well, I'm out on the green tea offer from advaliant as well. They told me to pause my ads because too many of my leads were cancelling before the rebill. They wanted my ad text and I gave it to them over the phone for a few of my ads after initially refusing to give it up...sigh.
 
Well, it matters because they are betting on a certain percentage to rebill or they lose money. Advaliant actually just got back to me that the advertiser had made a mistake and asked if I would please restart the ads. Kind of scared me though...
 
WTF is this shit huh? I know all yall be stealing landingpages to test an offer, and if you aint then fuck you mr.WhiteKnight. What is a landingpage worth anyway, 20$? For what i've seen every landingpage for a same campaign look pretty much the same with the same shit on it, so STOP CRYING.

If you always pay from your shitty landingpages and feel bad from the wasted money when someone copies it, then go to a fucking design school so you can do em yourself, since someone is definetly going to steal it one day. It's not rocket science to design a landingpage (typical ones sold at wickefire).

It is what it is, get over it.

My whole fkn business model is built on A) using tools to get data about what campaigns are big on google. B) ripping the campaign off exactly. C) putting it online and improving it.

People use the same model on me and truthfully I couldnt give less of a shit.

abundance mentality. don't be scared of competition and don't waste time trying to protect your stuff. really important concept.
