Now bear with me here, this is a really newbie question. I have no idea how to track keywords with yahoo.

I've read all of this: Tracking URLs - Yahoo! Search Marketing Help

and I'm still a little bit confused.

Lets say I'm running a ppc ad on yahoo that goes to my landing page, at datingfordummies.com (not real). In order to track conversions, would I have to set up the destination url as datingfordummies.com/?OVKEY ?

Or would I have to add that OVKEY information to the affiliate code when someone clicks on the call to action on my landing page?

I can't for the life of me figure it out. If someone could give me some step-by-step I'd really appreciate it.

I just set this up a few days ago...

Steps I used:
  1. Sign in
  2. Go to Administration on Top Toolbar
  3. Click on Analytics
  4. Enable Analytics
  5. Conversion Only Box should read "Dynamic Value"
  6. Copy the HTML code below and insert it between the <HEAD> and </HEAD> tags on your site's conversion page(s). To pass a dynamic revenue value in the tag, you must modify your web pages accordingly.
  7. Or instead of #6, just email the HTML code to your Affiliate Manager and tell him or her to place the conversion pixel in whatever offer you want to track
Done!
