Hey I was at the show, wanted to say hi to mr ngo and wes (mr samurai) If you remember me i was there with my uncle. 2 brown guys always together at the westin lol

It was great talking to both of you. Im really glad i met great people, and was able to network. I hope I can make it to Vegas, but I gotta work hard to make that money before anything ;)

I would recomend ASE to anyone in the internet marketing field.

I remember you bro :) hope you'll have 21 next time so we can go to crowded pubs :)

anyway, for me affiliate summit is a great opportunity to make friends that knows what google slap is :) As Robert Kiyosaki said, we should find friends with common interests so we can feed each other with knowladge and information. And my home friends are not so interested in making money.... Nobody is perfect :)

Good luck this year and hopefully see you in Vegas!

Oh, I'll see YOU in Vegas mister. ;)

We'll hit the blackjack tables so I can finally make some $$ off your ass ;)

Yeah right

When I first started in this business I started by reading a long copy sales letter that told me I could get rich online. Then I started talking in IRC a lot and heard about people making money but thought a lot of them were BS'ing. Then learned to make some money myself after a year. At this point I still didn't realize the potential of this business I knew I could make a little money at it and other people were making money at it. But it wasn't until I went to my first show ASW that I truely began to see how much true possibiliy there realize to not just make a couple bucks but rather to amass a fortune. And the best part about it is you can start with almost nothing. There is no business out there that I know of that you can start with so little and make so much. Also to scale in this business you can make some small scripts to automate things where you might need more employees or a factory to see the same kind of growth in others.

Point being if you're going to stick around in this business and plan on making a carerr out of it. GET TO A SHOW!

How exactly can you start AM with very little money when everyone has pretty much said that you need to be spending hundreds a day on PPC if you want to be even minimaly effective?

I fucking told ya, go back and do article marketing, it's free. What, you think that wouldn't work?

I started with a few hundred bucks and now spend thousands per week. If there's a will, there's a way!

Smaxor is right dude.

one example... Facebook. Get those free coupons and start making some shit. It only cost $50 a day to start there... then you move up.

If you have half a brain you can at least double your money every day till you get to $1k a day.

Im spending a little over $1k a day, but I make way more in return.

Coupons? And don't listen to all the people claiming the only way to make money is by having a budget of several thousand dollars. Sure, it helps, but a lot of people doing 6 figures and up didn't start out with 20k but worked their way up.

hey wes pm me when you get a chance

Which sessions did you attend?
I wouldn't sweat it too much or w/e. People are going to be coming for quite awhile methinks. I mean, if under 21s show up anyways, even after being delivered the finger by the conference...it's still going full steam.

The fact is PPC just doesn't have much people can say publicly that hasn't been rehsashed to crap already and wouldn't interfere with their own campaigns.

I'm sure you accomplished this by coming up with something totally original... right?

I want to go to ASW in January...

ASW = January 11 - 13th, 2009...

My 21st Birthday = January 19th, 2009

Son of a fucking bitch. It'd be a big waste if I spent a thousand on a plane ticket to get there, and then find out I couldn't do anything. I'd have to get a grade A fake ID.

Any help? lol

Which sessions did you attend?

I attended quite a few. John Hasson's and the landing page optimization one were good. Amit Mehta's 99% the same as the one he did last year. There was one that was really bad, affiliate marketing internationally.

My point is the real "value" of affiliate summit is simply networking with other affiliates, affiliate managers, + more. If I could do it over I'd save the $1k and would've gone with the free expo pass. An extra $1k towards campaigns would go longer than the sessions I attended.

ASE was great, I just think the expo pass is a much better value than the full pass was.
