Do you think it's better to have many websites on different topics, or just a few that get a lot of TLC from the owner? I suppose everybody has their personal philosophy on this topic.

I own ~350 sites. I manage over 800.

my statcounter accounts says 23, not considering subdomains and dead crap here and there on squidoo, blogspot etc

only one is actually making some money

Far too many I need to sell some so I can focus more time on the good ones. 1 site makes the majority of my money. It's not much but it's still profitable.
