You're the one with hostgator right? I'm talking to them right now about it but I'm not too tech saavy and can't really present the problem in server terms. What should I say? I have hostgator too.

My problem was slightly different as it went to a page not found error when you tried to go through a link, I just asked them what they had changed on the server in the past few days. Then I just gave them a sample link so they could see the error and then they fixed it. Must have been something from the update, but try the the .htaccess first.

I had the same problem with Hostgator and here is what the issue seemed to be. Apparently they recently did an Apache update and new set of mod_security rules was causing the issue with Prosper202.

So they whitelisted my domain against those new rules and everything was back to normal after that. Hope that helps you.

Fill out a support ticket. Don't waste your time with their live support it is a joke. Just tell them you have a script you have been running for a while now and just recently your links have been getting blocked (403 Forbidded Message). Show the link that you are having a problem with and tell them you haven't changed anything in your script.

The problem is the link is hitting their mod security rules and is blocking the link. They need to whitelist your domain.
