Pub Con 2008 worth it?

The two I think a noob should hit are ASW in January and Spring Break (not sure when it is. I hit ScarySEO last month and took home a WEALTH of information and contacts.

Shit, just a few of the folks I met there have given me morsels that have converted into really great conversions.

For ASW (affiliate summit west) you may want to just network with a bunch of WF'ers and between buying rounds and dinners (hint hint) just keep listening and absorbing what they talk about. The key is to keep the booze coming and you pay for it! lol.. Not sure if you need anything more than the exhibit hall pass for ASW.

For Spring Break, make sure you come a day early and stay a day late, make sure you bring a laptop with LOTS of battery life, make sure you STFU and sit around the tables with the big hitters just listening, and for the love, make sure you meet and greet EVERYONE, even the ones you think are total dopes, because those are the ones who are making the most bank!
