You already know how many people go to the advertiser page and don't sign up.

If you can drop a cookie on the lander and do a redirect then you should have all the numbers that you need to see if it is the new ad causing the problem or repeat visitors or both.

It might take a while though because initially you'll be getting repeats that will get the cookie for the first time.

Interesting problem. I'm new at this but have been a solutions developer for about 20 years, so I'd defer to more experienced Affiliate Marketers.

I guess the question is.. what is the answer that you are looking for?

If it is conversions, then all this testing may or may not be of use.
Might be a better use of your time to go with Roishareteam's suggestion.

Different approaches do different issues, maybe.
 


yes but if i drop a cookie on the advertiser page...i know EXACTLY which users have gone there and not converted...and i can try to sell them on a different product in the same niche.
 
How can you sell them anything different if they are already at the advertiser page?
 
Oh.. I see.. but that doesn't account for those who bail on the landing page..
 
if you drop the cookie on the landing page you dont need one on the advertiser page.. cause if you redirect they will never get there anyway.
