1. can one advertiser show up twice on someones page? like...two ads. adwords does not allow more than 1 ad per advertiser per page, so i wanted to know if FB did. when i click "more ads" to look at everyone's ads, im pretty sure the same advertiser is showing up more than once there. please confirm.

2. kind of a follow up to the previous question...but if i made another fb account and started running ads on there as well, would my ads show up twice on the same page? do i get more impressions if i make multiple accounts?

1. One ad can not show up twince on one page, but if you have two ads that look the same, or someone else copied your ad then it is possible they both get shown at the same time.

2. How many impressions you get is based on your bid and ctr. Making a second account would do nothing. Just create new ads or up bids if you want more impressions.

thanks neil, so if i have two different ads, promoting the same product...on the same account...its possible they both show up at the same time for someone?

this thread is pretty stupid.
1) There is not point to the questions. It wont benefit anyone.
2) I answer the question and then you re ask it.

if using two accounts get you more impressions...im sure that will benefit at least me...if not every single advertiser on facebook.

gotta put on that certain persona for the WF community i see though...all good.

Bit of a hassle having multiple accounts and other such workarounds. Time would be better spent tweaking your ad. But I guess every little bit helps...

I think he's looking at it from either a "am I wasting impressions" point of view, or a "I'm gonna make a million accounts, run the same ad from all of them, and people will definitely notice them."

I personally know of several individuals that make serious bank by having 8-10 different accounts bid on the same keywords, and send the visitors to different URLS, but promoting same offer.. They mostly focus such works on comparison keywords, since when it comes to comparison visitors, they will click 4-5 different sites before making a decision, if they keep seeing the same advertiser being promoted, then they will go for it.

Though, this is against Google's TOS, and I don't recommend it. Just saying that I know some who banks quite well like that.

If you didnt notice... the title says "facebook" ;)

If you've got two different accounts on Facebook, FB won't generally get that you're both Account A and Account B, so it's entirely possible that if you've got two ads targetting the same person that they're going to be visible on the same page.

But no, I've never seen two ads from the same advertiser show up on the same page before.

I've seen it before, actually got a screenshot somewhere...but it may have been an exact copy of the ad and not the same guy.
