Let's say i'm bidding broad match on the term "used fleshlights" but i am showing up for just the search "fleshlights" but it's not converting. Is there a way to do a negative match for the term "fleshlights" alone but still show for other terms containing "fleshlights"?

Why not do an exact match instead? What you're proposing is impossible.

Because i am doing broad match bidding on longer phrases and i am targeting thousands of cities (bidding on city names), so do do exact match for every longtail is impossible. Account cant hold that many and too hard to manage. I can do exact for some of my shorter phrases, i was just wondering if there was a way,...

I could be wrong but I think you can do this

-[fleshlights]

I know you can subtract exact and phrase matches, but I'm not sure how it will effect your situation. It should work tho.

edit: assuming your using adwords that is :)

Goddfadda is correct. You can add "fleshlights" as a Negative Exact-Matched Keyword to prevent your ad from being triggered for that specific query. For more info from Google Adwords Help on Negative Exact Match keywords, click here.
