Whats the best way to get free traffic?

I just getting started in affiliate marketing and I'm looking for soem good free traffic ideas. I have just built a wordpress blog and a squidoo page. I'm also on twitter and a few social bookmarking sites. What else can I do to draw traffic? I did ppc for a few weeks and almost went broke (on the wrong product too much competition). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:jester:
