Okay, so i've been seeing alot of people post on wf recently about how badly google is raping their bizzop/acai/semi shady campaigns.

My understanding is that nobody provides as much volume as they do right now, but given the choice between a volume drop by shutting off google and switching to alternatives, and having G perform an account-wide ass raping, I'm sure people would take the first.

Would anyone care to share any alternatives to gaygle they've found profitable besides 1st tier like yahoo and msn? I don't want your best kept secrets, just a little feedback to see if anything else is even worth it.
 


Everything is worth testing. Don't shut down your G stuff but start slowly diversifying for the day that G cracks down on you if they ever do.

Main point tho is to test all traffic sources you can get your hands on. Most will fail but finding 1 or 2 can make your year.
 
Traffic sources are the best kept secrets in affiliate marketing, period. I suggest trying any and every marketing option available to you. Seriously, try them all.

While I won't share any specific sources, I will tell you how to find them for yourself. If you see a site that is absolutely blowing up, do a "link:" search in google and go through every single page of results. Chances are, you'll stumble onto a few traffic sources you never knew existed. And as pertains to Google producing the most volume - you would be very surprised at how much volume you can push without ever logging in to adwords.

We're about to see ;) I'm just a little bit away from saying fuck it, and not using adwords at all anymore.
 
^ I figured because g is deciding to account-wide fuck people, that alot of the big guns here would have the same sentiment

@ Spendlessly - thanks, thats a great tip, I never was too savy using the google commands, but that is def a good method/tool.
 
I got fed up with Adwords around Juneish. Prices kept going up, and they kept fucking around with the rules.

Really sad fact for me is that a couple other rather obvious search engines that don't get nearly the volume actually have traffic that converts better, because idiots use it by virtue of it being most used site in the world. Kind of a catch 22, but it's a catch the converts.
