Exciting products with no affiliate program

There are several things I would like to promote that have no affiliate program, or very limited programs. I told all about an exciting product I felt should have a better affiliate program a few months ago in the STS area.

Now I'm wondering if anyone would care to tell what they would like to promote - if only a program existed.

When networks don't have an offer I'm looking to promote, I contact merchants directly. Google the product you are looking to promote and contact the merchants via email/phone or see if they have their own in-house affiliate signup area. You'll be surprised. If they do not have an affiliate program, let them know what you do and how you have helped other companies in the past increase their bottom line substantially. From there it is negotiating and setup.

If it's a unique product that no other merchant carries, then I guess you're out of luck. Hope this helps.

Just did this yesterday actually. It was a company I really like and they currently have no affiliate program.
