yea it does look slightly different now. idiots...they basically redid what they already have...instead of adding useful features like multiple changes, multiple creation etc.
 
Because that's what happens when people publicly sell tools and APIs and whatnot that violate the tos.
The companies break them.

I'm still seeing the old page so obviously I can't say for sure, but judging by the screenshot, it looks like the new interface would be easier than the last one to code an automation tool for.

I havent seen it yet, so I can't call it 100%. But either way, don't mistakenly place rationality where ajax would suffice.
In the previous version, there was an absolutely fucking excessive amount of junkdata on the pages in the source code. Adgroups, bids, end dates, etc. For no reason. As inputs. Why? god knows. But I will blame ajax.

A more logical note is that the dumb programmer they had working that day thought this might be a good way to discourage people from trying to guess the correct input fields so he put up a ton of dummy ones to try and confuse you.

AJAX when done correctly actually makes your source code cleaner and easier to work with not messier.
